So again, not for everyone but if you are after the HTC 10 right now and are in a position to set up a new contract and can be bothered to Quidco (£30) and claim the Redemption cashback (£192) then you are getting the contract element pretty much for free. If you want to go via Quidco you will need to visit The Smartphone Company via the Quidco link, click the HTC logo, find the HTC 10 deals and set all sliders to maximum and click through to the third page.

12 x £64

The Smartphone Company's cashback claim system seems very simple. Details below.

-------------------------------------------------------------------
The New HTC One 10, is certainly aiming for full 10/10 marks with a brand new 50% faster responsive screen, new aluminium curved design, Dolby Audio™ Surround, dual OIS camera (12MP on the rear, 5MP at the front) faster changing and up to a 2 day battery life, So what extra's do HTC offer with their latest flagship? Well the 10 includes Motion Launch, Support Ice View case, Sensor Hub for activity tracking, HTC Connect, Quite ring on pick up, Pocket mode and the ability to Flip to Mute! So all the classic must have add-on's of a modern phone!
-------------------------------------------------------------------

If your deal included a cash back by redemption or a line rental discount this will be shown on your order confirmation email. Your cash back is claimable in five instalments over the initial duration of the airtime agreement. Cash back on 12 month contracts is claimed during billing months 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 from the date of connection or upgrade. Cash back on 18 and 24 month contracts is claimed during billing months 6, 9, 12, 15 and 18 from the date of connection or upgrade.

To claim, simply fill out our cash back claims form which can be found in the ‘My Account’ section of the website.

Please note that claims must be received within 60 days from the date shown on the mobile bill you provide to be valid.

Once approved cash back is paid within 14 working days directly into your bank account as supplied by you at the point of ordering.

Please note that you cannot claim a cash back if you have cancelled your order, disconnected the SIM card from the network, or you have changed your price plan with us, or with the network. The mobile bill you provide to us to at the point of your claim must be in relation to the mobile number we connected or upgraded. If you ported a different number to your new contract, the bills then need to show the number you have ported to.

If your contract includes automatic-cashback, you do not have to claim for this and it will be paid within 90 days of connection.

Cashback will become void for customers who disconnect from the network prior to their payment being made.

Not a bad price even if they don't honour the cash back!

Just ordered this except through their mobilephonesdirect.co.uk branch. Found exactly same deal available on there and just preferred that it seemed like a bigger company that's been around for longer. Cashback seems simple and all online no posting! Thanks OP great find!

They are the same company but you are right, the MPD brand has been around longer.

Works out cheaper than buying Sim Free. What is the bloat ware like for Vodafone these days? And are they good at shipping Android updates?

Vodafone are a terrible network and have very untrustworthy customer service. You have been warned.

The phone will come from The Smartphone Company not Vodafone. In my experience The Smartphone Company and Mobile Phones Direct supply SIM free phones so there should be no Vodafone bloat.

The network is great, the customer service can leave a lot to be desired but I don't know how that differs from Three or EE who are also both terrible?

EE gives me 80Mb/30Mb 4G in the little town I live in. Best network provider I've ever used.

Same, no comparison here either - I live out in the sticks and have had up to 100mb/30mb.

Forgive me me for being sceptical but what makes you think Cashback would be simple? It is supposed to be done in 4 instalments and the company is being all mysterious by saying "instructions on how to claim will be sent with the order". For me that isn't a good sign.
My view would be to take this only if the Cashback isn't a crucial part of the deal for you.

Network coverage and speed is not the same as customer service.

No, it is far more important....it's what I'm paying for. High speed data and reliability come top for me, not customer service. Other than a tweet once or twice, which was replied to fairly quickly, I don't think I've ever had to contact EE customer support.

Yup and that is great news. However my comment was that customer service from all networks is often terrible, I only mentioned that Vodafone had a reasonable network, have not mentioned EE at all. I am also with EE but I do not get the speeds you mention in my area at the moment, however they are perfectly reasonable. Not as good as Voda, but muhc better than 3 or O2

I'm 9 months through an EE 12 month sim-only contract. It's £28.99 per month, but £7.99 after redemption. The contract was purchased via MobilePhonesDirect, and the redemption process could not be easier. If there's ever been any problems, the agents at MPD are very helpful.

Very tempted by this, although another redemption sim-only deal alongside buying the phone outright (with the 10% off code from HTC) is actually very closely matched on price.

Has this worked for anyone? Obviously the phone is not out yet. however the deal seems to good to be true?

Update for anyone who went for this and is wondering when to expect it, spoke to mobile phones direct they said that their shipment is due in on the 13th may so will be sent out after that. @tommysimpson24 I've ordered and spoke to them direct all seems good
