£40 per month for only 300 minutes? You're basically just paying for the phone.

Except you get 300 mins + unl text and unl internet, that would cost at least £15 x 12=£180!

450-180=270. The cheapest I've seen the handset on payg is around 380.

I think that's a good deal personally. I'd hate to be tied to a 24 month contract. This is a deal for people who like their phones and also can afford a reasonable monthly fee. 300 mins is plenty for most personal use unless you're a bird.

I've got a few feeders in the garden and have yet to see a bird with a mobile....:)

Or, same retailer, £5 more per month, free phone
900 minutes Any Network Anytime + Unlimited Texts with £45.00 p/m 4 months 1/2 price
or £10 Auto Cashback

So, 12 x £45 = £540 - £10 auto cashbach, = £530 or
£540 - 1/2 price cashback = £450

with a whopping more minutes and texts included - though not free internet. So, a choice for comparable cost.

Yes this is better one thought to post but put off only due to no internet and these phone are meant for internet

Good deal. It's like HP for a phone if you don't want to pay all of it up front.

When I was with Vodafone a long time ago this is precisely what they did maybe they have changed now.

You might have had a business contract, where they don't include the VAT on the tariffs page (with a small note saying "All Prices Plus VAT)

No I remember it was called Vadafone 20 or something wasent a business tariff anyway ive sent an email to mobiles.co.uk to find out will report back here.

I was going to post this deal before the op posted it but erm to lazy.

I know Vadafone have a very good 2G network but how does it's 3G network compare to T-mobile?

Im with Virgin mobile now who use T-mobile and T-mobile share many of Three's 3G masts and now that Oranage are going to merge with T-Mobile surely T-Mobile with have the best all around 3G coverage?

I just wish I could get Google Voice in the UK and enjoy VOIP heaven but we are so far behind USA its a joke
#24
Three/T-Mobile are currently rolling out new masts, to cover 97% of the population, the live date is 10/10/10.
#25
When is the expected release for this phone? Also anyone know what colour they will be selling and if this will be branded or unlocked?

ive got three phones on VF and vat i included in da tarrif
#27
Yeah they said the same

"Thank you for your email.

I can confirm that all of our Vodaphone packages will include VAT.

Regards"

I may get this deal but not convinced Voafone has the best 3G network at all

HOt for me at this moment! U cant find any cheaper deal!
after 12 mths you can sale you phone on decent price(because is still quite new model and after 12mths should be at good condition), and can get another one.
Much better than 18 or 24 mths contract!
so:
12 x £40.00= £480+£20.00(phone)=£500-£50(topcashback)=£450
after year £450-(if u sell) about £180)=270
so
£270/12=£22,5 for 300min and unlim web and text with decent phone

i would agree with that workings out, it should fetch a fair price in 12 months, its hard to say what deal will be about come the start of April, its a gamble!
#29
I've decided to go for this, I also have a pre-order with prepaymania, but will cancel that due to the cost being very similar but I also get the payment spread out and a new number! Just need to make sure I cancel the contract!

If cash-back is paid, this will be a good bargain! Just need to sell my iPhone or any other of my 4 other phones! ;)
#30
I got told they are planning delivery on last week of march, anyone get the same answer from them?
Thanks
#31
Would have gone for this but want to port my number and AFAIK you can't with Voda unless it's done at point of sale.

The phone hasn't shipped yet, so I guess untill they send the phone out and the contract you can do it!
#36
I emailed Voda and got this response:

You need to provided the PAC when you take the contract. I need to inform that once the contract is started you cannot use your existing service providers number and you will need to use the new number.

Good work - hope it does work as I don't want to be stuck with a number I don't want for 18 months.
#37
Anyone know what you get with this contract?

Free voicemail or do we pay, can we use inclusive txts for mms?

Thanks

Nope contract. Most unlimited bundles are capped, its highly unlikely you would go over the caps anyway.

edit: just re-read that, indeed there is 25mb daily limit...i thought t-mobile had a 3gb monthly allowance? not sure then
