Just spotted this while looking at the HTC Wildfire S thread.
12 month contract
400 mins
1000 texts
Unlimited internet
Poss £60 quidco
Brings TCO to £300 WITH all you can eat data and cracking mins & texts allowance.
This is still a fantastic phone and for 12 months only? I think this is an absolute bargain.

This is still a great phone, and will be getting Gingerbread in a couple of months.

The phone on it's own can be had from play.com for £330.
A contract with all you can eat data would be circa £10 a month.
Over 12 months that would be 120 quid + phone = £450.
A bit of cash back here and there could bring that to under 400.
This way, for no up front cost, you get a cracking phone (barely less capable than the Desire S or Incredible) with masses of support from XDA developers all over the place (I've rooted mine & have Cyanogen mod7 (Android 2.3) and am still incredibly happy with it) and a pretty good contract with unlimited data.

All in 12 months, when the next greatest thing will be affordable rather than simply expensive.

What else would you expect for a top end smart phone, with no upfront cost on a 12 month contract?

you can always get the same contract and get the desire s or incredible s for an extra £30 or £50 in relation

Sure, there may be good deals for other phones but for the Desire, and no upfront cost, I can't see a better deal.

To each their own.

12m contract - hot. Only a couple of months ago you wouldn't be able to get this for £360 without relying on cashback deals.

Let me just restate slightly (and I'll change the original post)

voted hot, i think it's a cracking deal. at the moment i pay £15 a month on giffgaff for a similar package, so in 12 months i will be paying out £180. so to get this phone on a similar price plan it is only going to cost me an extra £180

Great Deal £360 For a year

If this was £20 quid for 24 months = £480 which was voted hot not so long ago

This is a Great deal and a new phone in 12 months
