£40x12 = £480, £35 cashback = £445, £120 redemption £325.00.

Also Vodafone has SureSignal device that piggybacks off your Broadband, not free mind, but if you can make it exclusive for mobiles you specify worth it imo, should be free if anyone can use it really.

Hawt.

I didn't include £35 cashback in the total as not everybody uses Quidco ;-)

Actually it's not possible :x
As stated in the info section:
"Unfortunately we cannot arrange to Port your number on Vodafone and O2 for website sales."
http://www.phones4u.co.uk/important-info/keep-your-number.asp

Maybe this offer is valid in store too though :?

i think you can port your old number providing you contact voda first before requesting pac from your current provider. well that was my case though. no harm to ask i guess
#13
it means you have to port it yourself by contacting CS and requesting PAC.
doesnt mean not portable
#14
Could that invalidate quidco by contacting them about the PAC.
#15
Can someone confirm they've managed to port their number to vodafone, might be worth doing if that's the case.
#16
quidco has nothing to do with porting... so no probs
#17
yeah but can you even port to vodafone online? I don't think dialaphone let you do it either

no unfortunately they don't :-(

it might be worth trying getting this offer in store though...
#19
no mention of the 500gb data allowance when buying the phone ?
#20
Just called Phones4U. You can only do the porting of numbers in store. They do not offer this deal in the store only online so you basically can't get your number ported.

Vodafone Your Plan MI £40

The letters MI stand for Mobile Internet.

"All tariffs with Vodafone mobile internet and e-mail pack.(Excluding iPhone tariffs)

500MB of inclusive mobile internet or e-mail usage. Vodafone reserve the right to charge for excessive usage at your standard tariff data rate."

mobiles.co.uk allows you to port your number to Vodafone...
I've ordered with them last week
#23
have just ordered this, great costumer service, being sent out today, a months free insurance and cancel that at any time, and because i have a month left on my old contract, they gave me the money to pay that for this month!absolute bargain for a 12 months contract!!thanks!
#24
got my daughter to go for this through quidco / phones4u .they are good for cashbacks and their website is very imformative.
just hope the 500mb data is enough for her ...

You are just giving Phones4U or DialaPhone a perfect excuse NOT to pay you your cashback - when you send in your relevant bills showing a different number to the one they set you up with on the contract do you think they will pay out ???????????

I've never had that problem, but I;ve never had cashback redemption deal with DaP
#28
Can someone confirm that the phone is unlocked?
#29
The phone is unlocked, it arrived yesterday and happily accepted my 3 sim. They haven't activated the new Vodafone sim yet, I'm guessing until Monday...

is the phone new?just went to a phones4u store and asked them about this deal, obviously they didn't know about it,they didn't wanna believe me that this deal really exists...asked them to check their own website...and after some discussions...anyway...the guy said that most of the deals done online come with refurbished phones..so...was your phone box sealed or opened? does it really come with 500MB internet allowance?
how are you going to take your money back(120£ by redemption)...who are you going to pay?vodafone or phones4U 40£/m?i've searched online reviews for phones4U and no need to say that 99% of them saying that they are rubbish, untrustworthy, unhelpfull they won't heelp you if you have a fault with your phone even if you have insurance, they'll send you to vodafone, vodafone is going to send you back to them..and so on...but the one who has to suffer is always the customer, everything nice until you buy, once you've bought there is no customer service afterwards...so...
I really want to buy this deal..it's a great one but...so many things saying not to...please give some impressions..about the phone,phones4U ...
thanks

The same thing happened to me. The guy in store wouldn't believe me and he said that the phone must be refurbished...
However I think they should say it online if the phone is refurbished...

I've also called Vodaphone and they weren't able to match the offer. But the girl on the phone offered me 35p/m for 12 months.

I'm so confused

yeah i did notice a thread or to on the refurbished matter, it might have been yours actually, though i hope and doubt they are refurbished, like you said they should mention it on the website. IF by any chance i received a refurb or broken seal box its going straight back!

:

The guys in the store are aware of these internet only deals. They come out with this nonsense about refurb phones in order to sidestep the fact they cannot offer a 12 month contrat. If you emailed the phones4u CEO and told him his shop staff are telling potential customers that the online arm of his company are selling used phones, he will not be amused

All P4U are doing is offering the same deal to you as they would to a reseller like Dial-A-Phone.

Unless you have that offer in writing I doubt you will ever see it. Or your phone will turn up with an 18 month contract. Vodafone are well known for agreeing one thing over the phone and then sending you out something else.

Give them a call back tomorrow and ask another rep, I bet you will be told we dont offer 12 month contracts . Check MSE for loads of similar problems with Vodafone and there magic deals offered over the phone.

if anyone wants to transfer their old number to vodafone using this deal have a look at this:
