On Orange. Unlimited text messages.

If you need more than the 100 minutes offered by the cheapest deals and don't want the bother/uncertainty of cashback claims, this seems like a good price.

People worry about 500MB limits but unless you spend all day watching streaming video you'll have difficulty chewing through that.

meh doesnt seem that good, what gets me about these smart phones is how ridiculously expensive they are, 380 quid to buy a desire. i can get a full PC for that price, its **** crazy its a phone man. All the networks seem to be pretty expensive this month on the phones. this was for 500min unlimited text and internet last month on 3, and similar deals on other networks for £25. they seem to hike the price one month then give a better one the next month.

What a daft comparison. For a start, this isn't just the hardware but is buying your internet connection and phone line too. You try putting a PC in your pocket or using it on the train. Or try making phone calls with it (no, Skype doesn't count).

Erm no, not for 18 month deals but for 24. Find me a better deal please - I'm all ears.

Are you sure that you don't have to pay for voicemail retrieval on this Orange plan? From what I can see on the Orange site it's 12p per minute. Which is worst than T-Mobile who i'm with as it's 10p per retrieval.

Most networks now either charge for voicemail or deduct the time from your quota. I think 3 is the only one that is completely free.

You're right there - thanks. Will amend deal. I'm with Three so wasn't aware of this creeping hidden cost. T-Mobile have always charged as far as I know, and it looks like the others are caving in. Can you ring your own number to get access out of your inclusive minutes?

Downside to deal is most places have 3-4+ weeks delay on deliveries as out of stock!

I think the Beepy deal was better. £450 over 18 months is reasonable. Beepy deal has apparently 10 week delay on delivery.

The Beepy deal was 100 minutes was it not? I specifically mentioned that this was for people for whom 100 minutes is not enough. Or do you mean the expired one?

I have called them to find out and they say that they think that both models are in stock.

I got the same deal through Phones4U a couple of months ago (inc £35 quidco).
Why is this a cold deal?
A free super smart phone for £25 a month?
WITH a reasonable contract (minutes/text/data)
That's a bargain whatever way you look at it.

What's going on with HUKD nowadays (shakes head)
