This is my first proper deal post so be gentle!
I've been looking for a good HTC desire deal as three wanted to shaft me on an upgrade and found this which looks good, obviously if you can be bothered with the cashback hassle.

HTC desire brown on T-Mobile
18 months
600 mins
500 txt
UL internet
£30pm
£160 cashback by redemption in 5 stages (£32 pound a go)
£40 quidco cashback

works out to £18.89pm or £340.02 over the 18 month contract.

If you can't be bothered with the £160 cashback by redemption they also do a £80 instant cashback here....http://bit.ly/b9Aj3N

Its the same deal except you get £80 cashback after your first bill instead of the £160 in stages so whole contract costs you £80 more so about £420 or £23.33 pm which I think is still good for this deal.

Not sure about this company - anyone used them before?
#2
looks like a confusing website to use...are they trustworthy?
#3
£35 topcashback available - just ordered the Desire from mobilephonesdirect before seeing this deal :(
#4
i dont think i would order from this mob if they were offering this deal at £10ppm. have a read of some of the reviews for them.

http://blog.rightmobilephone.co.uk/beepycouk-partner-with-rightmobilephonecouk/

i suspect anybody who orders will have difficulty when it comes to claiming that cashback deal

wow whatever happened to mobile phones direct, my current contract is from them, guess i wont be upgrading with them in the near future.

www.buymobilephones.net

is a pretty reliable company ive had a couple of contracts from there before some good deals and customer service was fine. only went with MPD this time around due to them being cheaper, get what you pay for i guess.
#7
i think this company has been ...... see previous reports -- me not for a fiver .. good luck if u buy

We have had a mobile from Beepy in the past but not a redemtion deal. Got the Quidco through ok though and the free gift ( a PS3).
#9
I used Beepy to get a Touch HD a while ago, got a good deal , quidco paid up quickly, they should be fine just make sure you do it by the book!
#10
my other half got a mobile with a wii console and the wii fit board through Beepy. Everything came apart from the balance board. We rang them and they wern't sure why it hadn't arrived but claimed they were sending another one out stright away...

A few weeks later it arrived and upon opening we discover that the wii fit board was faulty so we rang them again and they arranged a pick up and delivery for a new working one. Took longer than I would like but at least when we rang them, it felt like they actually tried to rectify the problem.

I would use them again but only if its a really great saving compared to another deal.

Thanks for the heads up. MPD rejected my order this morning - very suprising as I have never been rejected for credit ever before! Anyway, probably for the best!
#12
i used them for my new contract in january, quidco paid up quickly and the upfront cashback came pretty promptly as well so no complaints from me.
#13
cant understand the lack of voting seems a cracking deal to me , 2 weeks ago when the desire was first out these deals were getting really hot , they was from redemption sites also , when you say unlimited internet is there a cap i.e 1 gb, direct to t-mobile and its 3 gb but from second parties some say 1 gb
#14
cancelled my MPD order and ordered this:thumbsup:
#15
if taking the initial up front cashback then they have the phone free on a £25 contract with £70 back up front making it 380 over the 18 months

£25 tariff on the T-Mobile network.
Unlimited Internet on your phone.Unlimited Internet booster
300 mins
300 txts

if you get the £40 quidco then its £340 over 18 months.
#16
great calculations and sounds a better option , not waiting for the redemption money already in the pocket

my mistake the £70 is through redemption also
#17
dang and blast.

back to the drawing broad, I really dont like these redemptions....

I am veering towards the mobiles.co.uk 12 month offer for 12months, £40 with the phone at £30 and maybe £50 quidco.... not the cheapest but its 12 months and the phone will probably be worth more then than in 18 months so if you factor in resale when you upgrade..... plus i object to contracts over 18 months.

i am rubbish, cant even convince myself to get something shiny and cool after half a bottle of wine,.... really not going well lol.
#18
there is week wait on these i ordered earlier and got phone call saying will be AT LEAST a week until stock is back in:x
Dont forget £40 Quidco
#19
Can u port ure number over with this?

Secondly, vodafone say I need to give 30 days notice to cancel my contract (which has 25 days left),wud asking for my PAC not instigate termination anyway?

Got mine from mobilephonedirect.co.uk ( Free handset, 18 mths 300 mins and 300 texts with unlimited internet for £25 p/m), sold the phone this week though as I really didn't like it after my iPhone - it got really hot as well with any prolongued use, so now I've got a iPhone 3GS and wont be going back to Android any time soon

Avoid Beepy!!!!
They won't pay my cashback because of a mistake they've made. I had a faulty handset replaced by them in the first week and they used the excuse that they don't have a record of the imei number of the phone they sent out.
Very poor customer service!!!! i've given up arguing with them.
#29
just read a dozen of reviews about this dealer and i'll not bother to try...

You'll likely find that where it's a cheap deal but has something like unlimited internet, then that is the booster, and it's already attached
#32
heat for the deal. not tried Beepy myself...

Yeah! Fantastic Company.
I used Beepy to get a T mobile Contract 10 months ago. It was a full cashback deal and they sent em cheques within 3 days of me posting my bills.

I would go with Beepy again anyday
#34
If they get stock tomorrow I just might stray from o2! Hot deal.

I know nothing about the company, but Sky have a terrible CS reputation, but that didn't put off 2 million users......

Unfortunately, life is a lottery. Make your own choices.

Personally, I've had problems with many companies that have excellent supposed CS skills and I've also had excellent service from others that are supposedly bad.

Ye, but thats Sky, its a massive company. Eventually any problems they have will be sorted by the various regulators. And being a long time Sky customer, i've not really had any problems with the CS.

Beepy wont have a big customer base and wont be tightly checked. I think cash back deals suck, best thing is to get the cashback upfront. If Three dont get back to me about their stock of the desire then i may go for this, but get the £80 upfront cashback deal.
#39
I've seen so many complaints on Moneysupermarket's forum about beepy, apparently noone can get cash back from them and the customer service is horrendous at best.... I'll pass this one m8

my contract with t-mobile is finishing in May. Can't i quote this deal and get it for same or better price with t-mobile directly? I am not good with haggling. Any tips guys?
