Not dissimilar to the recent dialaphone deal posted but with the added attraction of no cashback claims needed.

If you need loads of minutes/texts, look elsewhere, but if you're after this phone at the cheapest cost over 18 months, I think this a pretty reasonable deal for £20 per month.

Unlimited Internet booster
100 mins
100 txts
Handset only £35.99.

Potential Quidco brings the cost of ownership over 18 months down to £355.99. Couldn't find anything else that could come close to this, certainly given no cashback claims being required under this deal.

Two considerations to add to this deal:-

1. With the launch of the new iphone on the 24th, deals on HTCs could be plentiful if you're prepared to sit tight.
2. This phone is low stock currently with a two week lead-in time. Given point 1. this is no bad thing, if a better deal materialises simply cancel your order with Beepy.

Hope this helps someone out :)

yeah, obviously hot as there's no redemption shenanigans, but I do wonder if the iPhone launch might drop the price a bit.

I spoke to Beepy yesterday and they said it is going to be at leats 4 weeks wait

I'm going to get the 18 month 300 mins unlmtd landline, unlmtd internet from them which after cashback and quidco works out at £18.88/month
#3
Thanks, you're a star for showing the total cost of this deal, which lets me know if I can really afford it, and whether or not it's a deal. Heat added, seems good.

By choosing the unlimited landlines booster, will you not have to pay an extra £5 for the internet booster?

Really good phone too - had mine about 3-4 weeks now and really pleased with it. Android store could do with a few more applications but it's still early days, and seeing as Android phones recently(ish) started outselling the iPhone, I should imagine we'll see steadily more and more apps being written.

No, it comes with 300 mins and unlmtd internet booster but T-Mobile's T&Cs say that all Android phones automatically get 3gb allowance and will allow you to choose one of their other boosters at no cost - plenty have done it who have bought from beepy over the last few months

Yeah I ordered my Desire on the T-Mobile 300m 300txt unlimited internet for £15 a month (phone was £93) from Beepy back on 1st of June and I've been calling them once a week to find out when I might expect delivery. First they were having a delivery on the June 11th but couldn't guarantee mine would be one of them (which is wasn't) and now they just don't seem to have any idea when they'll get some more. Could be in for a long wait methinks.

Loads of places are struggling to keep up with demand for this phone (Dialaphone recently stopped doing the black Desire). Great deal if you can get your hands on one!
#11

I did read all those, but I ordered mine off the back of the following HUKD post, as people were getting them, they were just having to wait quite a while. Hopefully it will just be a matter of time!

As Beepy havent had ANY stock this month yet I'd say this ISNT a good deal if you actually want to get the item. I've been waiting all month.

However, is worth banking while you look for better deals to come along ;)

I'll stick with the £285 unlocked price from o2 thanks :)

There are people out there who would pay £499 for it. I don't begrudge them it though as it's idiots with money to waste that keep plenty people in jobs.

Well, there is at least 2 phones out there that can beat it for speed and looks.
1. Nexus One is a lil' bit faster.
2. Samsung Galaxy S is much faster
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DLUQP7CWyeQ and that's on 2.1, when 2.2 gets here it'll be even faster!

Nexus one has exactly the same hardware

Hmmm Samsung that'll be a quality well built reliable phone then the initial Galaxy was universally slated too

Oh and 2.2 goes onto Desire as well do if there is any speed difference it'll still be the same % once handsets are upgraded

Well. They're not exactly the same as Desire has more RAM than the N1.
Even so in Benchmark tests the N1 has performed faster, maybe due to Sense hogging resources?
If I had more time I'd hunt down the threads but cant remember where they were, Modaco or XDA.

The initial Galaxy was horrible (software issues), the Portal improved, but the S is quite simply amazing, the only downside to it is slightly plasticky and lacks a flash,

the galaxy s is only noticalbly better in the gpu department - what great games does android have?

the desire's value for money far outweighs samsungs strengths

There seems to be a lot of confusion with this, T mobile are now saying only t mobile phones supplied direct get the internet free, if from a reseller you need to use your booster, I think some people are phoning t mobile and getting it added, some not, so beware.

I dont really play Games on Android yet, except for NES Emulator on my Moto Dext.
I'm sure its getting some better games though.

But anyway, the better hardware acceleration in the Galaxy S is desirable for video, the HD Video playback on the Galaxy is phenomenal on that 4" SAMOLED.

I'm not saying the Desire is a bad phone, I bought a Zagg InvisbleSheild for one, because I was expecting it to be my next phone but as far as Hardware & UI goes for me the Galaxy S far outshines the Desire. What with Swype being the keyboard, the fact it'll playalmost any video you throw at it also stream them to any DLNA device. Oh and includes ThinkFree office software.

Its like many things, there are plenty of people who dont really understand what is a good deal and what isn't. I bought a 3GS from Tesco for £440 PAYGO and used it for 6 months (Free Data), as it was immaculate I just sold it for £375. Was that purchase a sensible one? Yes it was because Apple devices hold their Value Very Well as they are desirable and known throughout the world. I know someone who bought a 2006 BMW 320D, paid £13k and sold it 18 months / 20,000 miles later for £11.5k, He could have got a 2006 Ford Mondeo for half the price but lost more money, so it cost LESS to own a BMW. Its not about the figure you pay up front, its about the value of the purchase whilst in your possesion. The same goes for many things, TV's, Etc Etc
#31
***Be careful.....
I had to REALLY haggle for my 3GB allowance as Beepy signed (me) up for 1GB.
I think T-Mobile are close to stopping their goodwill gesture of ALL androids being 3GB. Make sure you state when buying it's the 3GB....Maybe this is how Beepy can offer such good deals, as the contract is different to T-mobiles (yes I know it's thru t-mob etc etc)....

Just a heads up. :-D
