My mobile contract has come to an end and I am desperate to get this HTC desire hd!! This is the cheapest deal I have found online, though not so sure about the retailor. Anyways, anyone who is interested can have a look and hope it is a hot deal we can all share.

HTC Desire HD on Vodafone - £259.99 (Quidco 55 pounds cash back available)

Your Plan 100 Mobile Internet

With 100 mins & 500 texts + 250MB data per month
Your monthly line rental will be £15.00
Gadget Phone Support - first month FREE, cancel at any time, £3.29/month.
PhoneCare Insurance - first month FREE, cancel at any time, £7.99/month.

The only downside is that the release date has changed again and again to later. Mobiles.co.uk hasnot updated their release date - I guess they are not as reputable as larger retailers like amazon and vodafone after all.

Pretty sure mobiles.co.uk is owned by carphone warehouse, so should be reliable enough.

24 months @ £15/month + £259.99? so..... £620?!

Even with the £55 quidco that's still a cold price IMHO.

They are. Used them to get an HTC Desire. Got it before official launch.

Hi I have bought a couple of phones from Mobiles.co.uk they are fine and all phones are unlocked which is a plus

extremly cold deal! I managed to get unlimited texts, landline calls, internet and 600 mins for £20 pm plus free handset which i can sell for around £200. This deal for me = £480 for the contract (24mth) and take off the handset that ill sell means the contract is £280 for me so even buying the desire at full price, comes to £540 which this deal comes to £620 and has less mins, less text, less internet and no landline calls. VERY POOR DEAL!

/me wonders if ppl are missing the fact this is Desire HD, not Desire.

Inspite of this, I still don't think this price will turn out to be particularly good.

Even then, what is the difference apart from HD capaibility...

I would like to know where other posters have managed to negotiate the desire HD for £20p/m as all the desks so far have been above £25?

As to specs whilst the desire and desire HD both have 1ghz CPUs the latter is 2nd gen, smaller die size and has a far quicker gpu making more on par with the gpu in the galaxy s (another phone that seems to be above £22p/m effective even on a 24m contract lol)
