I tried the one direct from Amazon which was about 2EUR more, that had free delivery.

Trust me iv been watching closely if they would for this phone, they did say they would not in the early days but they are 100% bringing out ICS for desire hd but it is taking time, been waiting for sometime but its coming.
Really? It was the daddy until the galaxy s2 came along? What was your issue?
Only upgraded cos am a geek. I've no doubt it can do most things a quad-core handset can do with the current generation of apps in the app store.
