...preferred the older model...this one's too big!

Prefer this one, the other ones to small.
#4

Prefer the other one ... this ones too expensive.
#6
wished they make something in the middle one is too small the other too big (_;)

Ive got htis phone, its great just the battery life letting it down abit.
#7
This one's the one! But shame I can't afford it.
#8
Price just dropped 10% Impressive.
#9
whats the battery life like shinerz?
#10
This is perfect size where you use sat nav apps and esier on the eye for video content.
#11
Got this mobile and it is as good as the reviews and first impressions suggest. Battery life is similar to most smartphones i.e. a day charge.

nexus s is a better phone and only 29 pounds more at carphonewarehouse :)
#13
if you are going to use it alot Id keep your charger on you incase, depend how you use it. No other negatives from me though, great phone and this is a good price.

O dear, i've got a feeling you're about to get it.
#15
lol ive had it for the last month its a wicked phone

I have the Desire Z, an unwanted upgrade from my sister, really impressed with it, so i imagine this will be equally as good...or better
#17
It is quite a fair bit better than the Desire Z, and IMO defo better than the Nexus S. Especially when you hold both in your hands. The latter feels a toy.

The original Desire is better - much better screen and size,

Awesome phone. Had mined for a couple of months after selling iphone 4. This is a better handset with good camera and battery life is fine (I get 2 days). Get yourself over to xda forums and get Android Revolution HD on your handset - best move I ever made.

Preferred this one as it is just Right :)

No point pointing fingers, too big too small too this too weak battery this and the other. Bottom line is Since I have this I dont use laptop netbook tablet maplet kindle windle shizel prickle so on. You want one and you know it :)
#21
I honestly don't think the battery is a problem. Had this a month, and the battery life I get is far superior from what I was getting on my rooted and custom ROM'd Hero so I am very happy.

It lasts me the full day easily, and with any smart phone you are unlikely to get 2 days worth so a nightly charge is pretty much a given.

best price by far . . . heaT
#23
same price at play :)

**** me, £400 for a mobile phone is considered a hot deal?

World's gone mad.
#29
not saying its cheap as £400 is a hellovalot to pay out at once but.............its one hellovaphone
ive played with the iphone 4 and this phone and this is the one for me, i can do what i want with it, not what apple say i can. the screen maybe isnt quite as good but its pretty damned good, smooth in operation, video playback is excellent, surfing is great. infact its just great in every way
i could have had either and i chose this, its simply better imho
for those in this dilemma id suggest going somewhere and trying them both after all its your money
only faults i find, its a little too big to sit in your pocket and drive a car with and the ring tones arent loud enough even though ive set it to max but its such a good phone to use, did i mention i like this phone :)

this and the desire Z are basically the same phone minus 4.3 inch screen, slide out keyboard and 700 and something ram on the desire HD versus the 512 on the Z

i agree with £400 being to much, it makes me feel even more sorry for the guys who gladly pays £500+ for the yearly iphone revision although it is nice when i get a free upgrade and can palm it off to a apple fan

Really want this phone, but can I justify paying £400 for it when I can get a San Fran for £100? Genuine question.

Obviously I know that the DHD is a better phone, but how much better? Will it handle SD video files better (not talking about picture quality - more concerned about lag, audio sync issues and the like). Will currently available apps run much slower on the SF?

WTF

total nonsense or shall I say total HTCsense :p

They are utterly so different from head to toe.

CPU to start with .............

I have a SF and had it from the very first day Orange started selling them. Excellent phone bla bla bla, but 600mhz do lag or shall I say started to lag with all the new apps and games. At the end I ended up getting DHD. Flawless ..........

You can get them £300 on fleabay for a brand new one locked.

So much temptation...already got a Blackberry Pearl as I like normal 'text' buttons "abc", "def", etc..but screen is so small it's hard to browse. But can I justify it!? lol. Hot deal anyway. :)

This better than the Samsung Galaxy S? If so, how much better?

Yeah ok then if that's the case why is the hardware on this far better? I have the Desire which is basically a Nexus and my missis has the DesireHD and i can tell you straight im jealous, its much better it was designed for android 2.2/2.3 where the Nexus was designed for 2.1 and has more ram and rom and the screens massive and ideal for satnav or movies on the go. My missis paid £480 from expansys and had to wait a month for it as there was none no where as they where sold out its a great phone.

To be honest anyone who buys a phone at this price now is mental as the dualcore phones with nvidia tegra2 graphics will be out very soon making your £400 purchase a mistake that you feel like crying over when you think you could of had a much more powerful handset with android 3 on it.

Easily the desireHD is HTC's flagship phone and is more powerful than the Galaxy and is 2.2 native.
