one of the most expensive deals out there, avoid this

this is on o2 not t-mobile or orange, there aren't any cheaper o2 deals

COLD

you wont get this on o2 for less than this, unless you use one of those useless cash back by redemption deals which are rubbish and the one i was looking at doesn't have this in stock anyway

I got my Desire for £404 for the lifetime of the contract with unlimited texts & internet. £720 for this AND you have to pay an extra £5 a month for internet?! Voted cold.

Wouldn't it be better to buy this unlocked?

Price:£399.99 (including tax)
Shipping:£5.50 (Fixed shipping cost)

again, on o2? this is an o2 deal, i wanted this phone, i could afford to pay £35/m and i wanted to stay on o2 so i got this. it's ok to say you got this phone but the important bit for me was the network

you'll have to find a sim only plan which would probably be around £20/m for the same amount of minutes/txts/internet over 24 months that comes to £480 + £399 for the phone = £879

Well if you can sacrifice 300 minutes you get
-300 minutes
-Unlmited Texts
-Unlimited Data
£15 a month so £15x24=£360+£399 for the phone so £760 including internet and if you want you can cancel after 12 months. Internet is included with this as well so if add on internet cost of £5 a month on your contract it comes down to £120 (internet) + £720 contract cost=£840.

true but i want 600 minutes ;-)

if you really want to stay with o2 and get 600 minutes, then a cheaper option would be to buy the HTC desire sim free from play (or similar) for £399, and then take move to a simplicity 12 month contract with o2...

costs:

Phone - £399
contract - £20 per month - 600 minutes, unlimited texts, unlimited data(fair use policy applies)

total price £399+£240 = £639

plus £25 cashback via quidco for 12 month sim only contract

100 mins £540 over 18 months

or

same deal as OP but £60 cashback too

so yes THIS DEAL IS COLD ON o2.

as deals mentioned by me are on o2,

called buymobilephones 5 times last week, each time they said it'll be in stock "tomorrow" when i told them that they advertise it as "in stock" online they said "yeah but we dont have any" at which point i hung up and called cpw

And you thought, I know I will go to cpw and spend 200 quid more.

Stop justfying this deal, its already minus 140, give up, take the advice that people are giving you as we are trying to help.

most of the people who posted couldn't even understand the fact that this is on o2, why would i take advice from such people?

not my fault if people can't afford to be on a decent network. 200 quid more over 24 months is what, 8 quid a month, i wont lose sleep over that. no one has actually posted a better deal, without going through a company who advertise items in stock when they aren't and who don't even pay out the cash back without a fight or without buying the phone sim free which means paying out £400 in one go and then getting a sim only contract

"100 mins £540 over 18 months

i don't want 100 minutes, that's useless to anyone with more than 1 friend and same deal as me but with £60 cash back that you wont see from a company that doesn't have the phone in stock and will lie to you when you ask when they will be getting it in stock, i'm so close to cancelling and taking your advice, not.

is it a joke?!
