You really need an internet bundle to get the benefit of the features of this phone: last time I scouted around the best deal I could find - if you're limited to going on Vodafone - (it may have changed in the last two weeks since I last looked round though) was: http://www.mobilephonesdirect.co.uk/Brands/HTC/b509/n443/p31043.aspx (300m, unlim text, 'unlim' internet, 24 months contract @ £25/month, free handset)

Hmmm, I was offered by Vodafone the HTC desire for free 600min Unlimited Internet & texts for £25.00.

I'm between this and the £30 iPhone 8GB deal.

Any opinions?

The Desire is simply brilliant. Played about with an iphone but this just ticks all the boxes for me. Try looking for iphone v desire reviews and you'll see what i mean.

I have an HTC Desire and think it's a fabulous phone. Much more configurable, tweakable and 'fun'. Maybe not as many apps (yet) but getting there and this is sooo much more than just about the apps. Just my opnion :)
