Okay, maybe not as good as the O2 and Dial-a-phone deals that were on recently. However, if you want a 12 month contract with plenty of mins, texts and data, this doesn't seem too bad.

Options include:

400 minutes
1000 texts
Unlimited data
12 month contract
Per month - £30
Handset cost - £24.99

for £385 over the whole year or

300 minutes
1000 texts
Unlimited data
12 month contract
Per month - £25
Handset cost - £79.99

for £380 over the whole year

Cashback rate from Topcashback is £46.46 and Quidco is £46.

Why is this being voted cold?! Great deal for a 12 month contract

Probably the lack of a redemption deal- it would be so much cheaper, for those that can be arsed.

This is a bargain with a 12 month contract on a great network.
Have some super heat :)

I actually find myself vaguely temped. I've got the original Desire and a change would be nice :)

Usually it is the redemption deals that get voted the coldest. I guess you can never win! :p

People may be rationalising that you can pick the handset up for £240 on one of those £10 a month, 24 month deals, then get a sim only deal for ~£10 making it £360 over the year?? Of course, you are very much reliant on cashback paying out in such scenarios!

For those that need the Vodafone network, I think this represents good value. In any case, I hope it helps someone :)

Not a bad deal, if I hadnt negotiated a good deal over the weekend for this phone would take up this one...

Not a bad deal considering it's only a 12 month contract and offers a decent amount of minutes/text/data for the money. Heat added.

Just a quick question about Talkmobile. I went for the Galaxy S deal on Thursday and after receiving the confirmation email I am still waiting for the phone to be dispatched.
Has anyone else ordered from the site and if so, how long did you have to wait for the phone?

I think TalkMobile are pretty high on my list now, isn't it unlimited data that actually is unlimited for a change with them?

I bought one of their contracts through CPW and it was dispatched first thing Monday (having ordered on Friday). I would guess it is a stock issue - simply call them, or if you're worried about cashback, email them :)

Heh, I have done both, no reply on the email, so I phoned them. The bloke on the other end could'nt find my details on the system, but after I give him my order code, he said that they were having delays processing new accounts.
Don't know if I was just being fobbed off, but getting impatient waiting for my new toy!!
