First Post.

I've been waiting for a UK retailer to release the HTC EVO 3D. This is one of the first sites I've seen offering the handset in the UK for pre-order.
£499.49 + £6.50 delivery = £505.99

*3D Display
*3D 720p recording
*2D 1080p recording
*1.2GHz Dual-Core Processor
*1GB RAM
*Android 2.3 Gingerbread

Full specifications: http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_evo_3d-3901.php

Was going to wait for this but ended up having the GalaxyS2 im not sorry as i bought it out right so i could upgrade when ever im ready, This looks like being a great phone but will have to wait and see, you may be better waiting as its a fair way off and theres bound to be better deals out there when it launches.

My only issue with all these smart phones is the battery life, I was on the edge of canceling my service with three because the don't have any good retention deals at the moment but it seems that the smart phones don't last as long as my old E71, Who knows maybe this will be a bit better

cmon make it free delivery you pay £500 for the fone alone.

How are we meant to know whether this is a good deal or not if this is one of the first sites offering the handset in the UK for pre-order?
#5
Basically it's the same as the SGS2, but has 3D. £500 seems alrite, but I wouldn't say it's a deal.
Still worth it tho!

Are you sure it will ship with Gingerbread? LG have always said it will ship with the older 2.2 Froyo!

sense 3.0 use a bit more power and therefore benchmarks on s2 is faster than sensation (as this is jsut the sensation with 3d and a bit more RAM). I would personally go for evo 3d so im going to hold our.

good deal but i am also worried about the battery life.

I've gone three days between charges on my HTC Desire HD, including emails, calls, music, some browsing.... They just keep getting better. We've broken the curse of "must charge my phone every night" now.

The Evo 3d isn't a GSM phone. There are still only rumours that a GSM equivalent for Europe will be released and if it is it will be re-branded with a different name.

Because the LG Optimus 3d hasnt got sense and has 2.2. The HTC Evo 3d has Sense 3.0 with GB. Its well worth waiting for the evo than the LG, the spec, look and GB is much better and its due 24th this month....... lets see if it will stick!?

My bag, didn't pay attention as I wasn't expecting this until late Q3 for a GSM version release.

Nope.
Screens are different (super amoled vs qHD LCD), memory is different, processors are different.
