It's not the Android tablet i would choose personally but if you are in the market for one then £120ish less than anyone else is a pretty good start.

First time I've seen one of these. The home screen looks a bit busy for me. Still great price if you're after one. Everyone else seems to be a lot more expensive!

may be for Nokia N95.

A 7 inch tablet costlier than an ipad... HTC should have been kidding themselves.. Still running on gingerbread which lacks the tablet UI. Should have been running Android 3 which is optimised for tablets to be at least considered serious. Shame on HTC to ask for premium on a dull product IMHO... Cold for me.

When a <4" handset costs £300??...would be nice but sadly your not going to see large brand Droid tabs at this price unless it's it's old model discounted stock

lol ..... and then you woke up.

Given the spec, it is overpriced I think. But I reckon it'll be a loooooong time before you get that sort of discount on it!

32gb +3g shows as £559.98 for me

whilst i refuse to buy an ipad i still wouldnt pay £479.99 for this or the crazy prices for the xoom, iconia a500, asus transformer either though

There was another HTC flyer link here on HDUK for 400 plus the "PEN" I think this tablet is only worth getting if your gonna get the pen. If your looking for a decent tablet and priced fairly you should take a look at the 9.7 capacitive tablets on *bay. Can get them for about 200 and are really nice for day to day browsing and so forth.

If your looking for one around £149 mark....

I'd look at the following:

Zt-180V2, 8" S5PV210, Flytouch3 all have resistive screen but for that price what do you expect...!

Samsung galaxy Tab was £650+ when it hit the shelves...
Now £200 brand new...

ARM gear is nice technology, but these prices and the current wave are bleeding edge, over priced, and alpha stuff. Nothing wrong in a general sense with it, but way way over priced. The ARM parts in the units in theory should be cheap SOC design, and yet are on market costing the same as very decent laptops.

The spec in terms of memory and disk space is always hamstrung. My estimated good price on this kind of spec is sub£200 - and my suggestion to readers is to hold off until its much more in that area before buying. You'll also avoid all the alpha level OS building and problematic states of the devices now as things get straightened out.

The alternative is if you can get a deal via a mobile phone contract, just be aware that what may seem cheap in a monthly price plan may be eye ball bleeding over the full term.

No longer available at that price unfortunately

Where is the original Tab (with 3G) available for £200 brand new?

Price is back so needs to be un-expired?
