over hyped tablet that doesn't live up to expectation or its price tag.
#2
still overpriced
#3
In the incorrect price-range, around £100 overpriced, horrendous build quality.
#4
over priced :/ Samsung tab s/ Note Pro is much better
#5
It will only be attractive if sub-£200.
#6
Stupid price, should have launched sub £300 for the 32GB but HTC took ripped the proverbial on price and shape, people buy Android tablets because they don't want a 4:3 screen Apple insists of fitting on theirs.
#7
Looks like the Nexus 10.1 Inch is MILLLLLLES BETTER 'Build-Quality' & the like i'm assuming then? (together with Nexus 7) .. get MUCH better rave reviews & stuff ..... lol. :-)
#8
Had it and returned it.Bought Samsung pro 12.2 instead, much better.Over priced, screen bleed, shoddy build and over heats.Screen isn't that sharp for the ppi, camera very average.Should read the review on Amazon, you might be lucky and get a good one,but I wouldn't bother,as others have said, knock £100 to £130 off and its more attractive.
#9
And yet it gets 4.5 stars on Amazon - most given at the previous - higher - price.

Methinks the Apple brigade are trying to kill this one.

I am an android fan and was looking forward to this tablet, but after reading reviews and then trying it out myself, I found the quality a huge let down and the screen bleed unbelievable. Now looking for a deal on samsung galaxy tab s 10.5

I am too trying to get tab s, for under £300, I posted this because its the cheapest yet for 32gb in UK, I'm not keen on the device because of the 4:3 but someone else might be so I posted, people voting cold because they don't like :/

i found the 10.5 was too big. its fine for the lounge but too big to take out . The 8.4 is perfect and after using it then my samsung s5 and my wife's ipad mini, the s5 and ipad mini feel like cheap toys. its a billion times better than the truly terrible samsung tab 3

Not really. lots of idiots especially some on here slagged me off for getting a samsung ta s 8.4 rather than the Nexus because the Nexus was gonna be the ultimate tablet despite not even seeing it. I had and was unimpressed. It looked like a large 100 tablet. build for the price was shocking. samsung have learnt and whilst the tab s are premium price they have a premium feel

Google spec and price Nexus device's not the manufacturer.
#17
Very overpriced, I'll stick with my Nexus 7.
#18
Google will catch a cold with this one, only Apple can charge what they like and still sell. Price of this will drop drastically when they smell the coffee but will probably be too late then. I think the 4:3 format is the way to go as people increasingly use tablets for reading rather than viewing. Nexus 9 will spur on new 4:3 tablets from Samsung, Asus et al so hang on and watch that space.

Anyone recommend a tablet for less than 200? Using a samsung tab2 at moment and too laggy now, not bothered on brand. Thx
#20
Curious that most andiod tablets/phone make the screens grey rather than black when they are off. Looks a bit dumb with a black unit.
#21
Very dissapointed considering this was HTC made. 16gb with no capacity to expand is a complete non-starter nowadays, and of course well overpriced for what it is. The penny will drop soon enough and Google will slash the prices of these just to get it out of the door. One of the most eagerly antipicated partnership (Google + HTC) and turned out to be one of the biggest dissapointment of the year.
#22
sales already down on this generation, like samsung they will have to rethink there pricing to become competitive again. Way way to expensive. @Reading1800 the nexus 7 2013 is brilliant even with lollipop on it (unlike the nexus 10 which I'm reverting back to kitkat)

I'd spend a little but more on the Samsung tablet 8.4s. With cashback it's 295
