I have been looking for a deal on the HTC HD2. I have seen the Virgin deal posted here few weeks ago which I was going to go for, but surely this deal albeit a 24 months contract beats the Virgin deal as this is a completely free phone. I have no experience of the vendor and I am seriously thinking of getting this deal if voted hot.

Details:
HTC HD2

HTC HD2 delivers an experience your senses have been waiting for. The unprecedented 4.3-inch pixel-packed display is stunning. The worlds first capacitive touch technology on a Windows® phone along with 1 GHz processing power ensure a smooth and lightning-fast response to the lightest touch of your finger.

Most importantly, it is our first Windows phone to embody HTC Sense - a holistic experience that focuses on making phones work in the most intuitive way. HTC Sense is based on three core principles make it mine, stay close, and discover the unexpected.

Deal:

T-Mobile £25 Unlimited Internet Booster
+ 600 Minutes
+ 500 Text
+ Unlimited Mobile Web
+ 3 Months Free Insurance

In the 24mths bracket for a no cost phone, plenty texts, minutes and free data...and a 2gb memory card, I dont think theres anything around to beat that price.

Hot

If this is still around in 2months when my contract is up i will seriously be considering this. I was looking at an iphone but after watching a few reviews of this im determined to get one. Hot for me

you can get a cheaper deal on a 18 months contract
http://www.buymobilephones.net/mobile-phones/HTC/HTC-HD2/T-Mobile/T-Mobile-30-(18mths)-inc.-Internet/2707361?adnetwork=dgm

plus cashback

and the best thing is that after 16 months you can get a new phone

you can get it even cheaper on virgin if you can do bit of maths

I think a 12-month contract could work out to be cheapest.
An example is on dialaphone, Unlimited Text, Unlimited Mobile Internet, £40 per month, phone cost £38.59

The price of the HD2 will probably drop when the Mini, Legend and Desire are released in April.

Nfo on the above trio

I don't see how this is a better deal than the Virgin Mobile one? I went to their store on Oxford Street and I got the HD2 for £80, £25/month for 18 months. Surely that works out cheaper overall?

Over the length of the contracts yes, but after the 18 months are up you will have paid £80 + £450 = £530, on this, the payment will have been £450, meaning effectively months 19, 20 and 21 are thrown in for free and then you have 3 more months to go.

Factor in the Cashback and month 22 is paid for as well - so you are nearly there.
