#3
Yeah, I'm not up to date with deals. Is that good to you, would you say ? Or anything better on that page ? One of them even says unlimited wifi, wtf ! Surely that's dependant on your home broadband router !
#4
the unlimitied wifi will be certain hotspots like in airports. I forget which hotspot provider it is.
#5
I see, cheers budd. What about unlimited data allowance ? How's that different to mobile internet ?
#6
i dont get why this is 36c and the desire Z on this tariff is -130c!?
#7
it said unlimited email, but not unlimited wifi i think on its site,

Also if you use Quidco with it you get extra £40 cashback from Quidco
#8

I wasn't given the option of 23rd. Earliest was 26th ! I'm busy then. Thanks for letting moi know - how do I opt out itemized billing ? Are you also gonna call orange straight away to cancel insurance and help support line ?

From what I have researched, there is an additional £1.50 charged from Orange to get a paper version of Itemised bill, whereas you can get the same bill free of charge from orange. Orange said all is need to cancel the itemised billing charge is to call them up in advance.

However I am not quiet sure on how to redeem the £50 cash back without a paper bill from Dial-a-phone though, I might need to look into it a bit more after I got the phone on Tuesday.

Btw is the mobile gonna be network locked ?

As for the insurance I am not quite sure on, because it seems to me that Dial-a-phone chosen that company for insurance purpose. The phone is already came with 12 months warranty anyway, there isnt much point to get the insurance.

I would guess it will be locked, yea. But the maximum you would prolly ave to pay for an unlock is 20 anyway. And why would it be needed when you've ordered an orange tariff ? One thing I am worried about is whether the 8GB micro sd card will be inlcuded. I've heard on YouTube that not all places are offering it with the phone.

Problem with warranty is that it doesn't cover loss, damage or theft. Anyway, the first month is free so keep it for now. But I'm gonna call straight away to cancel the support line, cos that charges around 2 quid a month. I'll give Orange a ring one of these days about the itemised billing, too.

I didn't take up any cashback thingy majiggy. Yesterday I signed up to quidco, though. Is it too late now, you reckon ?

can always give it a try, cos sometime Quidco has problem tracking order.

I can't work out how to, to be honest. I click dial a phone on the quidco website and it takes moi to their offers on their website.
#28
Did it arrive ? First impressions ?

Arrived @ 24th , it is pretty good and I can confirmed that the phone is unlocked, cos I have a spare 3 mobile PAYG sim and it works as well.

But one thing i gont really understand is why it said 300 mins but when I checked on my account it said 290 mins and also 500mb internet allowance only showed 483mb as limit :s ??

Also I dont seem to be able to get the unlimited push email to work, everytime it just takes me to the subscribe page.

apart from those it is fun to downloaded all those andriod appz from Market.

Now I needed to get a case for it and a screen protector before I put into my jeans pocket hahaha :D

Haha, good to hear. Mine arrived early on 26th. Fantastic mobile. Registered straight away, too. 483 is basically 500, I think. Give Orange a call though if it's bothering you. I havent set up the email yet. Get the Sega emulator btw. Gensoid lite for free, then romgripper for many roms all free !

Yea, I'm looking for screen protectors, too. I've been told to go for invisibleshield as it's worth the £11...but sigh...that's a lot !

Do I need to phone up Dial-a-phone to cancel the extra 1 month free stuff, in case they charge for the next month?
Also do I need to register with Orange Customer support of my phone or not?
#32
You need to phone dial a phone, yes, to cancel insurance. Helpline is from Orange, so call 150 I think.

I haven't registered for any customer support. Don't forget to cancel itemised billing too from Orange.

No need to cancel the itemised billing ;) because I found out that as soon as you register an online account with Orange it will automatically set to ebill :D
Finally got a hydro-gel casing for it and came with a re-usable adhesive screen protector :D

AH. How good is the screen protector ? Cos I spent £4 for the HTC twin pack and I ruined them both by making them dirty trying to avoid bubbles on the screen...

sigh !

Still waiting on a pouch, hasn't arrived from last week cos of this snow weather.
#35
it feels very good and durable, very easy to apply, not bad for something less than £3 for the case and screen protector from ebay
