Referred to as T-Mobile G2 Touch Hero on the website, HTC Hero deals are all Orange.
First deal i've posted so apologies for bad etiquette etc!

Not the best deal out there, orange will do you this with 300 mins n txts for free on 34 a month and you can usually get free internet

Trust me with this phone, you will need it :) got one last week and its superb !

How is a 34month contract better than a 12month one?. Cant compare in the slightest because a 12month allows you to get a good phone that will be released during the year so your always up to date :). Voted hot since its a good deal.

34 quid lol!!!!

guessing he means £34.00 a month which is also a good deal especially if you live in an area with poor T-Mobile coverage. This is more minutes, more texts and definitely has internet included which has been increased to a 3gb limit. Admittedly it is quite reliant on quidco and cashback being nice and straightforward though.

Awesome phone. Bought mine on t-mobile the other day. Only 200 mins and 200 texts (which is enough for me) for £25 a month of 18month contract... Including internet. Oh, and its an awesome phone.

Thats one fugly phone.

Its got a bigger chin than Bruce Forsyth :giggle:

The photos don't do it justice. I was a bit concerned about the chin until I saw one in the flesh.

Android is a massive improvement from the Windows tytn 2 phone I was using before.

Is it better than an iPhone?
#8
If the deal comes with free net then its defo getting hot from me

I genuinely think this is an iphone killer, the only thing the iphone has over this is better marketing, it can do everything else

oh oh :whistling: You've started it now

well I am about to buy 1 or the other iphone has more apps and still very easy to use but the hero feels great what a dilemna. By the way I phoned O2 about 30% staff and other copmpany discounts and the new Iphone is still not included - that would have swayed it for me.

I know there are a few beauties coming out as well soon.

Android is open source coding which means clever geeky people will create their own programs for us all to use. With iPhone, Apple have to authorise them. i.e Spotify will never be authorised by Apple because it'll kill off its own iTunes. Spotify will be available to the Hero users though..

Hero has a 5mp camera.... iPhone has a 3mp camera

The only thing the iPhone has at the moment is a big internal storage... The Hero is a little more limited (but expandable with e micro sd card) but programs have to be installed on the internal memory (At the moment but i'm sure Android will get this sorted).

fantastic deal you got but how did you get it for £25?

Seems a good deal to me too! Can't see anyone finding this phone on a 12 month contract(with web) for better. This offer actually works out to be £339.80 over a year. The phone is retailing on ebay for well over £300. so even if you sell the phone for £300. It works out at £39.80 for a years contract. Stonking hot in my opinion. Can't see why people are not voting?
#15
Perhaps not such a great deal I suppose, would be nice for cold voters to post better deals though
#16
i think the hardest thing is to get the deal to the hot section. Once its in there, it flys!

Just ordered the phone, hopefully will be with me soon!

This is a really hot deal. Thanks for posting you have made my day! been looking at deals for a while and nothing has caught my eye apart from this!

Perhaps edit the original post and point out that this phone is worth over £300 and the total amount of the phone and contract is just over £338, therefore if they sell the phone. The contract will only be £38ish for minutes texts and web.

I think the reason this deal is not hotter is because:
1/ They dont' have it in stock - if you try to order it's on 'Pre Order
and
2/ Will you get the cash back? i've never dealt with Beepy, but from a quick 'google' they dont seem like the best.

Otherwise I'd be ordering one to.

Has anyone, who has ordered this deal, received their handset yet - or have been told when it will be available?

Anyone?

Very hot deal for a 12 month at this price. Just a shame its out of stock and they don't know when they'll get more.

Hey, I see you have posted in the HTC Hero (G2 Touch - Beepy) post. Did you order it from the website then? Have they told you how long you have to wait? And also did Quidco track (because it's a pre-order)?

I am also looking to purchase the same phone and it's a very very good deal.

Thanks

I couldn't send you a private message because your account says it cannot receive them, so i posted my response here...

i ended up cancelling my order, the company didn't know when the phone was due to arrive, and they charged me £2.50 for the pleasure. I ended up purchasing the hero from mobile phones direct on a 12 month contract (300 min, 200 text, unlimited internet) + free in car charger kit. Not as good as the first deal but at least i got my phone.

You won't be sorry if you order the Hero, it is a fantastic phone, it really is! I can't put it down!

Not as good as the first deal? That is not as good as most deals! It's almost £10 more a month than this deal and there are 18 month contracts posted on here which cost you only slightly more overall (with more minutes and text).
#24
is this for real,

just look at the site, like some kid made
who honestly thinks you gonna get back the 90 quid cash back

they will go bust as soon as they have to start paying that out
