Link doesn't seem to work, this should be fine though: http://shop.orange.co.uk/affiliateoffers/

Simply click on the Dolphin 25 contract, then on the next page, on the HTC Mozart

I got it for free last week, just had to provide an old PAYG sim from orange
#3
How? Just by saying you were an existing customer?

weirdwilli, I've moved this back to deals - however when it was originally submitted it had a quidco link submitted as a deal link and quoted £350 as deal price ? I've amended to your new link and changed price to the actual deal price (£17.50 x 24) + £50 = £470, thanks again for reporting

Sorry for the pricing confusion, my fault, thanks for moving it back to deals and correcting the price.

This is a pretty good deal dont wanna fork out over £25 a month, just wish i was 18 so i could go on contract :P

how are people finding windows 7 mobile?
#7
Apparently you can get the STD Desire (limited stock) on the same tariff. Very tempted as I think the Desire HD screen is too big
#8
Desire is a great phone, what I'm using at the moment actually.

Im interested in this but will the discount come straight from orange, as in, my bill will appear as 17.50 per month or will it mess up with quidco?

thanks

+ how did you provide them with an orange payg simcard? or did you buy this instore?

Yes you are signing up via the Orange website. The £80 'may' come from quidco but you should pay £17.50/mth @ 24mths. Very very tempted to get the STD Desire...

How did you actually get this deal? I have a PAYG SIM which I use (rarely) for 2-4-1 Weds Cinema. Would appreciate your comments

I'm just concerned about this in the t and c's:

The monthly discount will show on your bill as an airtime credit. The Promotion is not available with any other offer and/or promotion unless otherwise specified.

I don't think the £80 will work I just want to ensure they dont charge the extra fiver and add it as air time credit

Very good point....Any chance you can find out for us ringing their CS team? I am quite tempted to go for the STD Desire if it is plain £17.50/mth
#14
Cs team say they don't know it's quidco's offer so ive contacted quidco
#15
24 months is too long. Also, HTC told me that all Orange phones only come with a 1 year warranty (2 years on other networks).

Same thing, called up this morning and they had no clue abt it. But seems to be genuine on quidco's page. Might just go for the HTC Desire, as once the order goes through @ 17.50pm, thats what your account is set at, I seriously doubt anybody will tamper with the amount you pay.

Thoughts ?

I told the lady that i didnt want to pay £50 for the phone, so she asked me if I had an old PAYG card, routed around and found one. Got the phone for free, also mentioned the quidco deal and got cheaper line rental. If i recall, i think that there was a cashback of £80 with every contract?

Did you get the handset free and are paying < £17.50/mth on line rental? How about the Orange bloatware? have you managed to unbrand your Desire?
#19
how did u get the cashback for the handset... i thought u have to buy it first and then get the cashback , but i guess im wrong? ;|
#20
I am interested in this, but it says £22.50 in the basket. Also HTC 7 is now £99 so I would be going for the Desire at £49.
#21
It's expired, deal offered on the 28th
#22
so... how do i get cashback for this?
#23
hey guys!! i just received my first bill and it states that my plan is £22.50 and not £17.50, what did yours say?
#24
Same with mine, just going to leave it until I can check how much has actually been taken out of my bank, then I'll give them a ring if it's not been £17.50 taken out, got the emails and everything to prove it so I wouldn't worry!

I'll post back on here when I ring up/receive anything from them, will be interesting seeing what they've said to everyone else on this thread

cool, i'll probably do the same and wait until the money has been taken out... i'll post if i know anything too...
#26
any news? If you click on the link it is still live and you can go through to checkout, even though it says in in t&t that it has now expired. worth the risk?
#27
In checkout it notes the price at £22.50 not £17.50, so I wouldn't risk it! :)
#28
But when I do it I get 17.50. I clicked on the link above, selected £17.50 and it shows as £17.50 in checkout! So I'm like "hmmmm....but I thought this deal had expired...". Might give them a ring anyway and see if I can blag it on the phone.
#29
So anyone find out about the how much the monthly cost is?
#30
i went to the orange shop and asked about it all, cause i was supposed to be paying £17.50, but it says i have to pay £22.50, so anyway... they called the customer service for me and the person on the phone said that they will charge the £22.50, as the monthly cost and then quidco is supposed to give a cashback every couple of months via check or something... so im gonna contact quidco now and see what they say
#31
Shouldn't be the case, on checkout it states £17.50, therefore that is all they are allowed to take from my account
If not, I reckon we'll have enough ground to cancel the account imo
