Seems good to me! That's probably the maximum a lot of smartphone users use per month anyway, I'd say

It says your cashback will be rejected if you use any voucher code but you can give it a try anyway :)

Would O2 direct match this as an upgrade?
#7
Anybody ordered from these before? Anything we should be wary about before ordering or is it what you see is what you get? (no hidden charges etc)

Nope. Well you can try but I very much doubt it.

I spoke with a couple of Vodafone retentions reps and they couldn't get near it, even after speaking with their manager.

I've ordered. They're a subsidary of Carphone Warehouse.

I know people will probably laugh at the thought of having no data, but does anyone know if you can still remove the bolt on internet? I did this with my htc one x last year as soon as it arrived, and it has saved me 6 quid a month.
#11
Thanks DaveDesire. How about if you want to add something on (for example international bolt on) who do you deal with directly for this?

You deal with O2 for everything to do with your contract/tarrif like you would if you had bought from them direct.

I've used these before, seemed a good company. This seems a great deal, tempted.

apparently not. i too do not use data. i even asked if you could reduce the data package instead of removing and they said no.

then they had no answer about what the person who needs 600 minutes, 1000 texts and no data should buy because they haven't got a tariff for them

I got the one from orange on 36. 100 quidco and 4 months free by redemption and 18months... With sky sports 1-4 and espn, plus news. Works out sub 500.
#28
I got the same deal as above from orange, still waiting for delivery supposedly monday, vodafone couldnt get anywhere near the deal and dont know how these third parties manage it.
#29
I got a deal from them with unlimited minutes on monday, heard nothing since, was meant to be delivered yesterday :/

The way they offer them so cheap is by including little extras that many people forget to cancel - as long as you remember to cancel them you're fine

anyone got any advice on whether the HTC First will be similar performance to this? I want a new gen Android but a screen closer to 4" than 5"
#31
Great phone, i got mine through T-mob retentions for £16pm free phone.
gorgeous Display and twin speakers really are standout features. camera is average perhaps as good as galaxy S2 in image quality Video quality is loads better however. Build quality is amazing, slightly better than brothers iPhone5, and puts my older phones S3 and One X to shame!
This deal is HOT as mine was a one-off.

HTC first is a mid range device, this is one of the best Smartphones available.

£16pm free phone?

Do you get like 2 minutes a month with 3 texts and 5 kilobytes of data? That's an INSANE deal!

They count on people forgetting to claim the cashback, but I with regards to this offer, it's a very good question.

ordered from these guys before, and had to do redemption cashbacks every 3 months for 18 months. no problems at any stage. very easy to do and they had great communicaiton

Is there cash back to do? I said for me £22pm before cash back then £22pm after cash back, I assumed it was just a way round not having to do it.

Originally ordered the Dialaphone deal on Orange, but will cancel and order this. Would rather have £22 a month coming out of my account, more minutes and less the ball ache of submitting / raising / chasing cashback claims - although the Orange deal does work out cheaper effectively over the contract period (more so if you managed to catch the £100 cashback deal/s from Quidco / Top Cashback).

Not with this deal. The cashback deal I was referring to was the Orange deal.

To confirm - there is no cashback required/available on this deal through mobiles.co.uk. The price as stated above is what you pay. No need to worry about claiming cashback etc.
