Maybe if you'd actually put something about the phone in the description and not just the three months insurance!

it comes with 24 months Manufacturer warranty, a refurb would only be 12 months.

If that's the case then it will be customers return stock.

Not bad! I was fortunate enough to get hold of the OnePlus one though. £290 for 64gb sandstone inc buying an invite - Minus selling of an Invite for 60.. Bargain. Coming from the M7. Have atleast 1 other invite to sell too... Then when I come round to selling the M7.. I'll have made money, and got a newer phone. Unbelievable Jeff.

i've just called them and they said that these are brand new Phone but in plain white boxes, they have the full HTC 24 month Warranty and are not customer returns or Refurbs, most probably they are white boxed as these are the phones they send out as replacements from the manufacturer and they have managed to buy them in bulk to offer this deal.

they also said that if anyone is not happy they can return for a full refund. you also have your statutory 14 days remote selling protection.

so happy daze!!! :)

Are you telling me people don't know what insurance is about... ;)

(by the way, I genuinely haven't heard of this phone before. I haven't paid any attention since the S4 came out. Contract up soon so starting to pay attention again)

I don't think so. There is the E8 which may or may not come to the UK. Same specs but with a 13MP camera, dual sim and its cheaper than the M8. Its made out of plastic though and HTC left some features out.

Guys, take a look on Gumtree!

What, a contract upgrade? If so, what happens when the gumtree seller doesn't pay their contract or declares it lost/stolen? Also, apart from mobile insurance via paid bank accounts, who insures phones bought from Gumtree? There's far too many potential issues buying phones privately over a retailer.

Spoken to them, it's a brand new product as mentioned above but in white boxes - he also said that the reason that the grey and gold ones are more expensive is that they managed to get hold of lots more silver ones. Any issues, just send it back to us he said. He assured me they have never gone out to customers and all phones are brand spanking new! This is a Super Hot deal and I've just bought one!

Bought it on Gumtree, selling on eBay. Seem's it's the only way to obtain them right now - Early forum joiner/competitions.

Okay got the phone. It came in the original sealed box which was wrapped in bubble wrap. It's brand new. The phone actually comes with a plastic cover in the box which surprised me. Just setting it up now using the HTC transfer tool. This thing is slick!

Thanks. Did it come with the accessories: headphones/charger?

want a one m8 then this is the deal so thanks to you that found it, now match this phone with a 12 month sim only deal from three, 200 mins unlimited texts, unlimited data yes I did say unlimited and three actually mean unlimited (ive been with them 10 years, and blows Vodafone's network out of the water - I was with them for 6 days last week - that contract is now cancelled)), and if that's not enough, you can use 4gig a month as a personal hotspot (tethering) and yes this is on the 4g network!! 0800 0500 numbers included in allowance and now free roaming using your package allowance in many countries.

Yes Three's all you can eat deals are good but their coverage isn't great for me. I have a Three Mi-Fi and Vodafone on my phone. That's because Three is only 3G and now 4G so their is no 2G voice coverage as with the other operators so when I tried them for voice some years ago it was hopeless for my location. 4G doesn't support voice at the moment either. 3G coverage is pretty poor for all of the operators if you are outside of a main conurbation - look at their coverage maps! 4G will be better - eventually - right now Three's 4G coverage is extremely limited but lots more to come by the end of 2014. So it's all a matter of where you live and where you go. If you head into some quiet rural location for a weekend then you'll at best get 2G voice - whoever you are with ! Roll on 99% 4G population coverage.

hi deals, I have travelled lots of the uk, camp in campsites etc and I have never had any problems, so much so that I currently have a mobile dongle to use my laptop in these locations lol, but now have the one m8 and unlimited data I will use the handset to tether the laptop and close the dongle.

I personally cant fault 3, that's why ive stuck with them so long, but I suppose some areas coverage is not as good as per your experience.

if its been a few years since you tried, why not have a go somehow.
