Why the freeze on this? cheapest around at the moment (matching Amazon) but with a Free screen protector

Plus you can get 5% quidco back = roughly £18.78

So a potential price of £451.21

Yeah, but get tied into a 24 month contract for £600+

I prefer the handset + sim only contract, gives me flexibility to upgrade whenever I like and still hold good value in the handset to sell on eBay

Mate, look for the o2 24 months @ 10.50 (1st month is 13,50) plus cost of phone at 179. As on o2 you get 50 quid cash back via topcashback. The phone works out at 382! O2 unlock for free and pay the contract off. You will save 25 percent on buying similar free. I agree with you about sim free phones but buying this sim free when you can save so much via o2.

I think this has been proved it cant be done though. O2 do not allow a downgrade of the contract any more.:(
