They're putting on custom WP7 ROMs not Android ones.
Don't forget, skype works fully on it, as it has a front camera too... the rear one is excellent too, much better thatn anything available at the price point.
really is a silly price this. Only down point compared to the recently cheap Nokia 710 is the sat nav on the nokia ... but that also has no FFC...
My Mrs is really happy with hers, and to quote her (roughly), will never go back to android after using it...

Skype doesnt work fully on it. Doesnt support background notifications and call sound quality is horrible compared to Tango. But all that is microsofts fault not this phones.

Voice search shown up now we have Siri - How is that a problem? Its an extra option, a bonus. Also it was on Windows Phone before Siri was out.
Sharing videos is painful - Ive had no issue with my Lumia, click it and it goes to facebook or skydrive.... easy.
For the money I'd say this was a bloody good deal. The best thing about Windows Phone is that its easy to use and understand. There are three people where I work over 50 who get on very well with their WP. They play music and use the apps and the serch button yet they can't use a computer very well. which shows just how well this Metro Design is, and its fast too.
Windows Phone has SkyDrive. 7GB space for free space, which is more than the others. And the SkyDrive app works on all platforms so if you have an iPad, Windows Phone and a Android you can get to all your files. All in all its the best cloud service next to drop box because it works on everything.
