?
he means that the HTC is the better phone but for £70 cheaper the evo 3D is better value. not really hard to understand

So all good :)
Take the phones4u offer if you don't fancy redemptions etc.
Its £36/ month over just 12mths, you get the HTC sensation XE (unlocked) plus 300mins / 3000txt and 500mb data a month on vodafone. Total = £432.
So no need to pay out £299 in one lump just spread it over 12mths, if you buy this phone then you will need some kind of tariff that includes data, so your looking at least £10/month for decent minutes text and data in order to get the best out of this phone.
Plus phones4u are offering £55 cashback via quidco bringing the total down to £377, so if it all pays out its £77 extra for a full 12mths worth of minutes txt and data (£6.40 per month).
:D, love how people mention Beats! Beats is merely an equaliser preset, useless and can be easily replicated on 99% of all smartphones! Its essentially the Sensation.
The 3d has the same sized battery, has 256MB more ram (not that it really makes a difference atm). The 3d has a 1.2ghz dualcore however the XE is merely an overclocked sensation, it hasnt changed underneath so simply purchasing a cpu clocking program on market should let you clock the 3d to the same speeds, not that it really needs it and just wastes the battery faster!.
Why pay an extra £70 to not have a 3d camera and 3d display and 256mb ram and an artificially faster cpu? Id save my £70 really! Oh and ICS, yup the 3d is getting that aswell.
Please be more informed next time you try and call something bad!.
As for this deal though, if you really want the sensation XE then yes its a solid deal so voted hot in that respect.
Both dual core, Beats is available for Evo 3d, battery life is the same, only recent by 2 months. ICS is not compatible with all apps in the market yet so not really desperate for that.
Main disadvantages of Evo 3d according to GSM Arena:
* Less than impressive screen performance outdoors (same with XE)
* Speed and productivity not on par with other dual-cores (1.2 vs 1.5 of XE)
* Rather heavy (by 19 grams)
* Low resolution 3D stills (upgradeable via root)
* The two cameras are too far apart for good stereoscopic close-ups
Main disadvantages of XE according to GSM Arena:
* Death grip issues for both GSM and Wi-Fi radios
* Less than impressed with the screen's outdoor performance
* Unimpressive camera results (even if higher resolution than Evo 3d)
* No dedicated camera key (Evo 3d has a very good camera key)
* microSD is under the battery cover (you'll lose all wireless signal when open the cover)
