£12.50 @ Mobiles.co.uk
Cracking deal. 300 minutes, unlimited text and Internet. 12 month contract @ £40 = £480 but there's 7 x £40 casback & £50 quidco = £320 back so only £150 or £12.50 a month. Phone itself is worth £250,… Read More

This is pre-order due stock in 2 weeksish

On itouch in bed, so couldn't figure direct link. Filter 12 month vodafone deals. Yes it's a post in cashback, but part of CPW and had no probs in the past.
Night all!

A vocal minority who have screwed up their cashbacks have a tendancy now to vote cold on most cashback deals even if it is CPW and saves them money.

So long as you read and follow the rules there's no problem. Those moaning are cross with themselves and not CPW or any deals.

Never had a problem with cashback deals.

The device isn't out yet. Bit of a no-brainer.

I always forgot to claim my cashback in time. Guess that's what they rely on.

Never done a redemtion deal, I am liking the sound of this one. Book marked and heated.

Good find, but the HTC Wildfire has an awful QVGA(320x240) screen. For a 3.2 inch screen that is dreadful.

Work out the dates that you owe cashback on, enter them into your calendar, digital or otherwise, setup reminders on memotome.com, prepare the envelopes with stamps ready to apply especially for the claims, done, while others around me spend hundreds a year on mobile deals, I've spent a tiny fraction due to redemption claims i keep on top of and due to getting good retention deals.

Agree. Get your envelopes and forms done (date them so you don't forget) and file with the bills. When bill comes in check the envelops and voilà! Simple

I am a bit confused by these mobile deals. Is there anything from stopping you getting the deal, selling the phone for more than £150, keeping the profit, then repeating? Would mobiles.co.uk have something against you getting more than one mobile in your name?

Nope, i generally sell the phone on fleabay and put the sim in my current phone. Sale price normally covers the 12 months.

Sell this phone on fleabay for £200 and put the sim in your phone and pocket £50 + 12 months usage!

Multiple orders probably would be cancelled, would look suss and would look like money laundering (why would a normal person want 10+ phones?)

nice deal if cashback comes through...i'd beein doing cashback deals for over 5 yrs now and never had a problem. Albeit never did a cashback with this merchant. reviews are not great for mobiles on cashbacks but again no merchant had good reviews with regards to cashbacks.
Heat from me.
#16
I thought you weren't allowed to include cashback in the deal price?

Doesn't say that in the post either. Should be made clearer.
#18
Sounds like a good deal!

Agree with other posts about being extremely organised with the cashback dates/bill etc.

Does anyone know if these phones are unlocked?

Thanks

Similar spec? Not even close.

Never had a problem with claiming the cashback myself. I tend to post all the claim dates into the calendar of my new phone then I never forget to claim at the right point.

Both got Android 2.1 and they seem functionality wise the same, I imagine a lot of people wouldn't have a use for the extra performance of the Desire. Cheapest I could find a Desire free on contract was 30/month for 18/24 months, so this seems a bargain by comparison to me.

Why has it been marked as Expired?? I can still see it on the website.
#23
Def still on the website.

Does anyone know if these phones are unlocked?

Thanks

Cant find this on the mobiles.co.uk site :S
Can anyone link or guide me there? Thanks :)
#25
can't believe they ditched this offer the day I got my PAC code :( Do 12month offers this good come around often? I liked mobiles.co.uk having 60days to get your bills to them too.
