HTC Wildfire £15.00, 24 month contract, Vodafone either 500 texts, 100 mins and 500mb data allowence OR 300 mins and unlimited texts

plus £35 quidco

Introducing the new HTC wildfire, and as the name suggests this amazing handset will spread like wildfire. This new HTC has been dubbed by some people as the 'budget' Desire, but we can assure you that this is no way a lack lustre handset; this so dubbed budget handset would more than hold its own with the smartphone heavy weights.

With the ever popular Android 2.1 software on board the Wildfire's ease of use is second to none, the fantastic sensitive touchscreen is really quick and responsive and with the 7 home screens the wildfire posses flicking between them is a breeze.

The tech spec on the wildfire lines up really well too, with an expandable memory of up to 32GB, 3G capabilities, WI-FI, Bluetooth, HSDPA and a cracking 5MP camera with flash and geo tagging and autofocus. The battery life stacks up really well too with up to 690hrs life on standby, so it's perfect for listening to music and watching MP4's direct from youtube.

I think we need to make a stand 500mb is no way enough in these modern times, with smartphones that offer all this ability, it should be 3gb at the least.
If heavy downloaders are taking up bandwidth then they should expand the service , not penalize the little man. :(

...not penalize the little man. :(

But that's the point. The "little man" isn't going to penalised; as said before, the average user is only going to be browsing the net and hitting up Twitter making 500mb plenty.

Misleading picture, voted cold as a result. Given correct picture on link, don't see how it's possible to have got it wrong unless on purpose....

I still think 500mb is running very close for daily browsing, if they only want the big downloaders whats wrong with capping at 2 or 3gb.
At least that would give us peace of mind so we dont have to be checking all the time as Im sure once you now go slightly over , it will cost a fortune.

"subject to a fair usage policy of 500MB data allowance per month. On exceeding this allowance, you will be defaulted to the standard £1 per day charge for the rest of the billing month. £1 per day gives you 15MB data allowance per day. Upon using up this daily allowance, the standard charge for data access will apply (£2 per MB). Any unused monthly allowance cannot be rolled over to the next month."

sick to death of 24 month contracts. I bet the guarantee only lasts one year on them too.

I think it would be better to call Vodafone to match the offer and bypass Dial-a-phone all together
