I understand that a similar deal was posted a couple of weeks ago to which several members were unsucessful with. Well I just ordered this around 15 minutes ago. So call now.

No Mobile Internet. Which is basically why you buy a smartphone in the first place.

@@@VODAFONE HAS OFFERED ME BETTER DEAL THROUGH WEB RELATIONS TEAM @@@

Wildfire : £25 per month on a 24 months contract where 21months are HALF PRICE line rental means £12.50 and the rest of 3 months back to full price which is £25.
Now the package:
600 mins
3000 texts
1GB internet
+ free wildfire...
Cancel your contract cuz I believe you are in cooling off period (14days i fink) haggle with them.

I was just on to a customer advisor after phoning the number given by original poster. I asked about the deal and she said that she could not offer it, but without pushing her, she offered me 100 minutes, 500 texts and 500mb of internet, plus free HTC Wildfire for £15 per month over 24 months ... BUT they have no stock at the moment and apparently no firm date for delivery. I could have signed up there and then, but want the phone quickly. She said that I should see if any shops have them and that they should honour that same deal.

Hope this helps someone.

Update.

Went into Vodafone shop this morning and explained that I had been offered the deal online and asked them to match it. They said that they could not, as their system was set up with a minimum tariff of 300 minutes... however, the kind assistant and manager had a go at entering just 100 minutes ... and ...IT ACCEPTED!!! So I left the store with a shiny new free Wildfire, 100 minutes, 500 texts and 500mb of internet for £15 per month over 24 months. I am well pleased with that.

Thanks very much OP ... respect and heat!

I like it ... then again I'm coming from an LG Viewty!
Yeah, I can see that the screen resolution could be a problem for some, but I find it OK. It's only really noticeable on websites, where you have to zoom in to get real clarity and also viewing photos, but zooming is just a tap, so... but for my simple needs (texting, emails and the occasional browsing session) it's a great little phone for the deal. The customisable features are excellent and comprehensive and the Android app store has tons of stuff to download.
I was gonna wait for 4-6 weeks for the launch of the SE Xperia X8 (which will have a higher res screen) but I feel will lose out to the Wildfire in most other departments.

Note when talking to vodafone about deals, if the phone is out of stock then they only see web deals. If its in stock then they can access and offer better deals. It depends how good your advisor is whether they will tell you the better deals or not. Thats probably why some get the £15 deal and others won't... Only problem I have with this deal is the 24m contract. Because of that I'm not gonna vote hot or cold.

Was contacted by Vodafone on Monday offering me the Wildfire for free with 300mins, unlimited texts, unlimited internet and unlimited calls to vodafone mobiles with first 2 months free. All this for £12.50 a month so snapped up one for my girlfriend and one for her son. It's a cracking little phone!
