Just been offered an Extra line on my contract as an existing customer with Vodafone for over 2 years.

The deal is FREE HTC Wildfire which is an android mobile with 5mp camera worth £230 300 mins, unlimited text and internet 24 month contract

My current contract finishes in December and they said I can cancel that when it expires and carry on with my extra line for £10 month.

I was offered other phones like HTC Tattoo, Nokia 5230, Samsung Monte etc. but the HTC Wildfire is by far the best one.

This deal is not available online but you have to ring them up for the deal. Infact the customer services adviser gave me her email address and I have the deal on email but I would have to ask permission to give out her email address.

Good deal, will try for this later, what number did you call ?
#3
Don't think the internet will be unlimited though. Seems pretty good- big shame about the 2 year contract

Most probably be 500MB. A shame the agent used the term unlimited as vodafone from what's on their website are phasing its use out.

Great deal though as the phone is £200+.

Anyone had any luck getting this yet ?

Especially new customers

Not a new customer, currently have 6 months left on a vodafone contract. I have been offered this deal but I dont think the 500mb will be enough for me.

As I dont need the minutes, I am thinking of going for the Wildfire from Tmobile for the 100mins, unlim text & 3gb data, £15 month (18 months), £40 upfront (£20 cashback)

Contacted the email address listed above and arranged for the phone to be added to existing contract (only been a vodafone customer for 8 months). Deal as specified, very happy with my phone, delivered the following day.

Ha, methinks Yasmin is going to be getting lots of commission this month ;-)

Would love this but I'm not a current customer. I was with them for 2.4 years though, would that count or do they not take old customers back with benefits ?
#22
Wow, fantastic deal. After the desire though so i'll give this a miss

very tempting though
#23
I've been a customer for around 2 years and I've just emailed her about this deal - I will post back here when she replies.

Ok guys here is the deal, remember me (Vodafone), what you have been quoted is known as a household deal, and any existing vodafone contract customer can get this so long as they have been their long enough and have been approved for additional connection.

If you want this deal contact your upgrades team, (preferably me ;) ) , and they can do it.

Now here is the catch, you can't cancel your old line and replace with this as the price will go up, you MUST have a full priced line on your account for this to work, so its great for adding other people to your account, then you can transfer them off after 1 month, but not for replacing your current phone. I am surprised the "agent" didn't tell you this, so makes it feel like CPW or P4U

I picked up this phone on a different vodafone deal last week.

The phone is fantastic to use especially all the apps.

Was meant to get mine today but dpd rescheduled delivery :(

How is the branding on the phone , is there any on the phone cover itself and how heavy is it in the software ?

Theres a half decent deal on dial a phone giving you 100m 500 texts and 500mb of data @ £20 pm with 7 months free on an 18m contract. With £35 Quidco the deal over the 18m would work out at £184.96.

i just rang vodaphone. Told them about this deal and they gave it to me. Simples

My neighbour got this phone yesterday from an ad in one of the papers on a similar deal. I've got a Desire so I was expecting the Wildfire to be like a cheaper version of that but I was quite impressed with the build quality. It's like a baby Desire really. If you're not into all the techy playing around with phones, I think this is a good phone on a good deal.
#34
I got 2 of these £10 deals.I was on the 30 day rolling contract at £15 p/month without phone & also only 100 mins, 300 texts & Unlimited net....this is much better as I'll sell one of the phones for around £200 & then I'll only pay £40 for the Full 2 years lol.The Wife also got same deals as me but she was PAYG, so good deal for her as well but she's keeping her phone.
#35
Does the phone come unlocked and are there any vodafone logos on it?

No Vodafone branding on the phone.

The HTC comes with a 2gb card, all the apps work fast and the menus are really easy to use.

Build quality is solid and I much prefer the size this compared to the larger desire.

Best phone I've ever had and I love the apps.

Whats the screen like, it's resistive touch isn't it? I presume therefore no pinch zoom etc

hot cant wait for them to open tomoz

I'd love this deal, but I currently have a 12month SIM only retention deal with a discount applied to bring the line rental down from £25 to, I think, £10 (although it was never £25 worth anyway as its only 100mins and 500txts)

As its discounted does this mean I'd not qualify for this deal?
