This is an 18 month alternative to the 12 month Wildfire S deal found here:

FOR ME THE 12 MONTH DEAL HAS GONE SOUR - You now need to put down a £100 deposit which you will get back after 6 months, lots of people are also complaining about slow and poor service. said to me on the phone thatif I order before 16:00 it will be with me the next day!

A break down of the way this deal works:
25.54*18 = 459.72
12.77*17 (half price for 17months deal) = 217.09
459.72-217.09 = 242.63

TOTAL COST = £242.63 (or £192.63 after £50 quidco)

The 17 months @ 1/2 price works like this:
You email/snailmail your 6,9,12,15,18 monthly bills to and they credit the money back to you, simple as that (I spoke to a sales representative). That works out to be £43.41 back for each of these periods.

It works out to be £10 more in total over the above 12 month deal, but is spread out over 18 months instead of 12, and you get 100 more minutes and 700 less texts (I'd rather have the 100 more minutes, I don't need 1000 texts!)

The main bonus over the other deal above is that there is no £100 initial outlay (for the deposit). It is also on T-Mobile which people seem to generally prefer because they share the network masts with orange - resulting in better 3g signal coverage

not sure why people are voting this cold so far, maybe didn't read the above breakdown?
To be honest the phone is pretty poor compared to the more full featured phones (I know that you would pay more for a better phone, but the 18 month old htc desire is better than this and can be had quite cheap at times), plus £13 p/m for the minutes, texts & internet is ok but there is better on 30 day rolling contracts. Not the worse deal in the world, but I don't think it is that amazing. just my IMHO

It's not personal, it's actually a good deal for those who want one but It's a crap phone for the price. Only good for girls & teenagers & a Blackberry is a better option for heavy text users. Far too small, useless for games. If you're a bloke, you shouldn't be caught dead with one of these.
