2nd impressions are much as the first, cable is stupidly short and really only fit for a sound source kept on your person, and the volume is just not what you'd call loud (tested on a number of devices).

"worth a punt"?, for me personally they'll just be kept as a 2nd to the headphones I have (house of marley's which up until now I've always thought were a bit meh, but these AKG's make them sound like world beaters). For less than 20 quid they're probably what you'd expect from an rrp at that price, at the £50 they are elsewhere I'd be well disappointed if this is what £50 bought me.

Cheers for posting though, cured my desire to get some AKG's if nothing else.
Got mine today as well, yeah cable is pretty short, but fine for me as mp3 player use, and not that keen on cable dangling down either side (my others, one cable goes round back of neck), but I was pretty impressed with sound quality, especially loudness / bass, then again, they're replacing some 5yr old in ear sennheiser CX300 (which are still working fine, but are a bit grubby in the grills) so bass could only get better, but I'm very happy with these for under £20

oh, and like the posh carry bag they come with + 3.5 to 1/4" were a bonus!

Has anyone had confirmation of shipment yet? link now seems to be dead.

I've had a 'dispatched' email, no item yet, will post when it turns up, but yeah, according to their facebook : site is currently down due to a hard disc failure

I've not even had a dispatch mail, just mail from PayPal to confirm money has been taken.

Never did get confirmation but they turned up today, first impressions are that the cable is very short and the headphones aren't very loud.

This is a great deal. Had a pair of these (from HTFR too) a few years ago and though quality of the cable wasn't the best (and ultimately led to their downfall), they sounded great for the money (sure they were about £50ish) and I loved them. They sadly broke on me and I bought some other headphones which broke last Friday so I've ordered these. Can't wait to have them again. Thanks to the OP!

I 'dealt' with this company recently...all I'll say is buyer beware. On a par with 'overclockers' for disgraceful service.

never had a problem in years of buying records with them...tell us more

Can't I'm afraid. It's going to the small claims court. Read into that what you will.

Got mine yesterday - awesome bags! Very well made, plenty of room - look really hard-wearing. Well padded. Well worth £49, let alone a tenner.

Just received mine. T'is very well made and the original £49 asking price would seem about right :) Chuffed to bits.

Got my two today, good quality bag, Traktor, VCI100, Tunes , Phones and extra all fit...Big up to the OP:)

Cold, price excludes vat and postage ,very misleading

torby
perhaps you could elaborate on what makes this a "hot deal"?

By the fact you can't find it cheaper anywhere else? as with any hot deal.

be nice then to know how much they are elsewhere then to see what the savings are....as with most deals posted on here...

have done, and went for the £6.95 postage option, still to much for me, ill sticket to my 1210sa and serato

Im glad you spent so long mulling over this deal even though your not interested in CDJ....Get back to your old skool!

Nothing wrong with old skool...

agree agree agree! You cannot beat 1210's! Feel the music, actually buy something, no downloads and if you want to you can hook them up to traktor!

Nothing beats vinyl! well apart from the fact it's hard to get hold of

Why buy limited edition T62's when you cam buy a pair of Stanton T62s from decks.co.uk for £245

Used T120's would be a better option if you have a limited budget or Gemini TT-04's
cus you get the world's only transparent blue dj cartridge, the Stanton I Track. and its a good deal i think and one of the best starter deck around
Isn't this exclusive to HTFR, so no one else could sell it at a lower price? Why is this better than the standard and cheaper T 62 anyway?
