Been following this price for a while and jumped on it as the cheapest i've found anywhere else is £239.99

Please (no cold votes for shop Direct Very)

The price is almost a steal for this!

Thanks

(deliv £3.99)

Amazon price matched, might be worth a Flubit for a better price.

Yeah the black one is quite sexy per say but alternatively u can buy the mesh strap for this (clone of the original from Huawei) on Ebay for a £5er if that's your thing :)

I've been waiting for this one to go down in price for too long and supported an amazing watch from the kickstarter called Ticwatch... Couldn't be happier as they arrived couple days ago, fantastic smartwatches!

Had this watch for a few months now. Really happy with it. Bought a stainless steel link band and black and silver mesh ones too. A strap for all occasions :)

HI Yes it does, and whilst u can swim with it as it's waterproof, I wouldn't bother as the screen will likely go bonkers when in contact with water like mine did in the shower etc.

It runs android wear so can do the following plus a lot more features have been added since this 1st gen video and it should get a huge upgrade early 2017 with Android Wear 2.0

I just read a review saying that the heart rate monitor is highly unreliable and that was without mention of using it whilst swimming.

Also on Amazon at this price now! Just ordered mine!

just bought this on Amazon, I was considering a Samsung Gear S2 Classic but this price seems unbeatable.
#14
Can get this on Flubit for £178... am tempted though unsure whether to wait for the Zenwatch 3...

I see these watches almost daily. Literally hundreds of them in my work place.
I don't see how people are having trouble with the charger. It's fine. Very easy to attach.
I've never seen another watch similar to this to compare it to. But from what I can tell of this on its own, it's very nice, solidly built and the android on it is really snappy.

It has a speaker. I know because I heard some sort of accessibility thing on it where it was audibly telling you what was on-screen.

How well android wear on this is working with iOS, had moto 360, returned it after one week because it was constantly disconecting.

I have a first gen Moto 360 and the steel connect bracelet version of the Huawei watch. Love both watches but the Huawei's battery life is excellent, I take mine off the charger at 7:30am at at 12:00am it still has over 60% charge with medium use throughout the day. Looks classy too.

Huawei in their wisdom built a speaker into the watch even though Android Wear didn't support it at the time, but now it does. Most manufacturers would have released an updated watch with a speaker to entice owners to upgrade so they can sell more watches. Credit to Huawei for building a watch with a degree of future-proofing.

I have a 360 too and just couldn't live with the battery life and performance. I loved it but it became a bit of a drag.

I had a 360 too, I found if I used the standard supplied watched faces my battery life was very good but generally it's sluggish and after less than a year the screen had terrible burn in from the charging clock.
Just got my Huawei watch this morning from Amazon and I'm impressed so far!
Apparently we should get android wear 2.0 when it's out so this watch is somewhat future proof.

I doubt you can open it up without voiding the warranty however it appears to be secured with screws rather than being totally sealed like the moto 360. There are videos showing how to take it apart but no idea if you can buy the batteries.

Thanks. Just ordered one from Amazon!

Although it is IP67 and will be fine in day to day wet situations you shouldn't swim with it. See the official Huawei statement in the reddit below:

Have just put Wear 2.0 on it and it's so much better than 1!

If you fancy it here is the official guide/images:

https://developer.android.com/wear/preview/downloads.html

Don't bother with the Android Sdk to install adb and fastboot, use this installer instead:

As ever this is beta software so do at your own risk!

gonna wait probably, so long as the Amazon price is this then Flubit will always work, I wonder if a £50 reduction by Amazon is now just the normal price.

Thanks OP, got it for £164.99 as I recently received a £25 discount voucher for Very! .

I think Amazon are just matching Very on price, when the Very price goes back up, I think Amazon will as well. I could be wrong but I have seen that pattern with other items. You could buy it on Amazon and return it later if you happen to get it cheaper elsewhere.
