Was in pcworld Kingston yesterday when I saw this in their reduced bin. You just plug in your wireless dongle to create a wireless router for other users.

Not sure if store specific as it ended .99 not .97.

Either way, a christmas present for my brother sorted.

Might be worth checking your local if your shopping today. I hope it helps someone.

From amazon...

* No cost or hassle of a land line
* No set up or installation costs
* Just plug and play
* Wireless router - no wires required

I guess it depends on your use. with the D100 you can leave your dongle and router at home for other users to benefit form having internet in properties where no ADSL etc exists. I am sure you wouldn't want to go out whilst leaving your moby at home, horses for courses I guess.
£30 to £50 on ebuay! Hot!
If you have a data plan on your Android 2.1 phone..............

'Root' your phone (enable full control of all aspects of phone)
There is a universal rooting app or check MODACO for bespoke root solution
phone = wifi hotspot

Does drain the batteries , I bought a little 6" USB A to USB Micro cable to keep phone powered up
Also turn off phone sleep mode to maintain wifi service ( better solution exist , I am sure)

OP, do you have a SKU on your receipt so I can call some stores?
