purchased this phone a month ago for my wife who only prefers iPhones . Turned out to be an extremely good purchase and would have got one for myself had it been waterproof.

Does it crash a lot or any minor niggles with it?

that isnt dual sim though is it?

None in the UK are. If you buy Dual sim your buying a foreign model... in otherwords - it will probably have Chinese firmware on it

Hmmm.. never considered a dual sim before. Would a tablet sim that you get for the data only work in this? And just buy a cheap sim for calls and texts?

Very silly purchase, when the oneplus one is in this price area.

None whatsoever. In fact there is zero lag and probably the most glitch free android phone we've used to date. The wife is used to the way iOS is glitch and lag free so this had to be up there to be kept.

With what seems like an explosion of 'flagship' level Chinese smart phones (oneplus one, Honor 6, Xiaomi Mi4 etc) recently has anybody ever come across a review/comparison of them all from a UK consumer perspective?
#16
I think the diff between this and OnePlus One is the preference on size of phone that you want on your pocket ;)

Obviously Cyanogen is another factor but I think we are at a time where most of the firmware now are stable enough for most users to fully utilise the phone.

not true as ive used this phone with 4g on giffgaff (which runs on o2 network) make sure you're checking specs for honor model h60-l04.

I take it back, this is the chinese dual sim version and not the internation version which I recently purchased. Correspondingly I'll eat my words; YOU ARE CORRECT, I WAS WRONG, it is missing 800mhz 4g freqencies, so will be limited on all networks. three and ee use 1.8 ghz which should suppliment this weakness but nonetheless I still wouldn't expect great 4g coverage if you're blind in the 800mhz range

UK version sold by amazon is single sim but has full uk 4g coverage. this version doesn't work on all uk 4g frequencies so isn't going to perform well generally and will fall back to 3g more often than a uk model.

Oh... I didn't realise they don't have the same LTE freq for all their models! Blardy hell...

just re-read this and thought it might be misleading. should read three and ee also use 1800mhz as well as 800 and 2600mhz (whereas o2 and voda dont have any 1800 at all, only 800 and 2600) lower frequency = long range coverage but lower bandwidth. higher frequency = short range coverage but high bandwidth. 1800 sits nicely in the middle. lower freqencies also penetrate buildings better for better indoor coverage. if you're limited to 2600 spectrum by your handset then you'll only get very fast connections in close proximity to a mast and possibly struggle a bit indoors because of the limitations of said frequency

Import a Moto Maxx XT1225 with a Lifeproof Fre case?

http://www.motorola.com.br/all-mobile-phones/Moto-Maxx/moto-maxx-br.html#moto-maxx-specs-br

"Bandas LTE Cat 4 (Bands 2, 3, 4, 7, 17) (1900MHz FDD, *1800MHz FDD*, 1700MHz FDD, *2600MHz FDD*, 700MHz FDD)"

No Band 20 (800MHz FDD) if you're with an operator who uses that.

Yes 4g works with 3. I know as I have a dual sim version 32g and nfc

I need a dual sim phone and tight on budget and this seems perfect but I'm just concerned if the UK version is single sim then using a dual SIM means using Chinese frameware... Would that impact on the performance? Also, the Chinese make would have menu icons in Chinese? The pictures on eBay and Amazon are a bit misleading. Can anyone recommend a white Huawei 6 or 6+ preferably 32gb.. Dual SIM is a must.

Thanks.
