As a P8 owner since day 1, you'd have to be off your rocker to jump at this. Sure, it's an excellent phone, but the P9 is infinitely better, can be had for little more than this and runs the latest Android. It took more than an entire year for Huawei to ship Android 6 to the P8 and is very unlikely to see any future updates, in effect it's a dead duck in the water.

Isn't p9 lite a better deal? £200 isn't too bad but better phones can be found...

Almost similar specs but the P9 lite is £50 more. But yeah P9 lite is better , as it runs newest android 6.0 and rumoured upgradable to 7.0 soon.

That's a great deal. X)

I seriously doubt it is dual sim from CPW.
Buy a P9 or P9 lite not the P8 or P8 lite.

no p9 lite is slightly much better , newer more powerful and efficient chip with better graphics, bigger battery and finger print scanner but the glass is not as good. not sure if still available for 129.99 + 10 top up in store

Bought for £149 nearly a year ago no deals here, not supported for future updates.

And correct emojis not supported as such, there are some but are a right old faff and classically you have to guess which one to use because they are displayed as TEXT!! WTF?

An excellent reason to get one, then.

My p8 does emoji's

Really? You dismiss an excellent piece of hardware because of support for silly pictures? (Which is a software issue, anyway.) If that's all you care about you should have stopped upgrading several generations ago.

have you tried installing a new keyboard which has emojis? it might be easier than learning to express yourself using words..

FYI manufacturer has declared that they will no longer be supporting updates to newer software versions for this. Unsure if security updates are included.

Seems very expensive for a three year old phone

Blame Huawei for that :)

Love my P8, it does do emojis although that isn't a main concern of mine. The handset itself is the best I've ever owned (has survived many knocks and drops from my children which a plastic bodied P9 lite would not have survived)

The P9 lite does have better software but the body of it is plastic, I personally will be holding onto my P8 until I can afford the P9 rather than P9 lite
