An excellent book for children!
Bobo the little chimp needs a really big hug from someone who loves him. Walking through the jungle he passes lots of creatures enjoying a cuddle - even the snakes have got someone to squeeze. Will Bobo ever find the hug he needs?

We got this in a pack of ten books for £10 from the book people. It really is quite poor. It only says one word throughout and is extremely unstimulating for most children. I think Jez Alborough is very good for kids usually and the pictures are cute, but unless you are 6 months old, this is ridiculous (especially as it's not made of card and thus can be torn!)

What i like about this book is the lack of words. It is a nice book that a parent can sit down with the child with. They can create their own stories with the very nice illustrations and use the child's imagination. :)

I totally agree with amibees. This is a great book and a favourite of both my children from about 18mths. It stimulated my children, they put their own words to the pictures & told me stories about Bobo. It's also good for learning about emotions and expressing yourself. Books don't have to contain loads of text to be enjoyable. Heat added.
