THESE ARE HUGE, Bigger than a real life excavator (well acording to the description at least)

I have ordered one for store collection, so that should be interesting, we might have to blow more than just the bloody doors off to get it out of there.

Not quite sure where i am going to store it yet, but cant really see the neighbours having to much to say, after all i could just crush their house if they do decide to moan, i like to think of myself as a good neighbour, but at the end of the day there has to be give and take.

Product Height 480 cm
Product Width 582 cm
Product Depth 91 cm ?

Disclaimer: Yes i know its an error, but im gonna hold tesco to their word and the WILL supply me with the goods as described

Build it and dig in!

'No dirty job is too big for this heavy-duty Motorized Excavator! Just flip a switch on the LEGO® Power Functions dual infrared remote control to drive the excavator to job sites, spin the cabin 360 degrees, to maneuver the articulated arm and to dig with the shovel. Download instructions for rebuilding into a Tracked Loader.'

Good Pointsgreat model hope lego bring out more like this fairly easy to build it is for the more experienced builder you have to follow the plans great fun building it and and it does dig like the real one looks good in the display cabinate

He must have a HUGE display cabinate! lol

It's 45cm long. See http://shop.lego.com/Product/?langid=1033&p=8043
Tesco, being morons, have quoted the millimetre dimensions of the box it comes in as centimetres.
Still worth £128 ? (_;)

tescos are sellingsame big heavy toys

As someone who spent 30 mins instore this week trying to get Tesco to refund a product they admitted was faulty I wish the op luck in them honouring it. I would save your breath......
#16
Free tip pal, they won't provide you with the goods described as such a product doesn't exist. At the best you'll end up with a lego model you don't massively want and have paid £128 for

Genius of the day.

I feel a long and drawn out battle ahead... Either that or an instant return and refund at the collection desk...

Oh how I will laugh if they say "yes sir it's parked outside" :)

Some peoples failure to grasp measurements and realise it's a typo beggars belief.

I actually believe Op thinks he's getting a box which is 5m x 6m. FPMSL

OP probably tells his girlfriend his manhood is 9 inches when in fact it is only 9mm!

Best take a screen shot of the description for your endeavours.
They are regulalry updated.

I got a battery driven ferrari a couple of years ago for £30 due to a tesco error, I stood my ground ( for some considerable time) and did eventually get it, but it was a fight.

check out this deal here

I am less optomistic about your challenge in this ocassion though.Good luck !

lol X)

I feel your pain OP. I wanted a large tv stand for my back garden and spotted just the thing on tesco's website - a 1100cm (11 metre) glass one. Had to send it back when it turned up, it was a mere 1.1 metres in reality....

sorry guys cold
i got this from argos a few months back for 80 bucks when they had their mad sale.

So, not only has Tesco misdescibed it but so has the op in the thread title knowing full well it's not that big at all, thus wasting people's time.

Get a grip op, it's never going to happen!

Wasted how much of your time? Less than 40 seconds or so I'd guess.

Get a grip? You looked at the thread, actually expecting it to be a digger that size? And at that price?

Hmmmmm. Think it's you who needs to get a grip.

Is it still "80 bucks", no its not which makes it an irrelevant comparison. You should have just voted cold based on the op being a numpty.

I had a look because curiosity got the better of me as I'm sure it did most people.

Funniest post I've seen in a long time.

Would have loved for nobody to say anything and then to see the OPs face when it comes delivered in a tiny box, would have been priceless.
#36
I looked originally thinking it was a genuine misprice on one of those little diggers you can hire, as the picture implied.

I think the OP knows it was a mistake but he is going to demand delivery of a 6m lego digger from tesco, I can hear a phonecall to watchdog coming their way

Disclaimer: Yes i know its an error, but im gonna hold tesco to their word and the WILL supply me with the goods as described

Was this added in by OP or was it there in the beginning? From the lack of an "Edited" I'd say it was there from the start.

Love the irony from the OP and some others but dismayed at the number of people that didn't get it.

Which branch? Every time I use Argos they insist on me paying in British Pounds Sterling. Are they now doing currency conversions?
