Although this does seem like a good price for this many cards, does anyone actually want to play with these, and Why?
#5
Play Your Cards Right anyone? lol

You don't get nothing for a pair, not in this game!

Theya re selling alot of their cards at the moment. Including Dr Who Collection of 3 packs and james bond Quantum of Solace. All of which are now in my collection after Saturday's delivery!
#6
Don't forget Quidco too!
#7
anyone know if they do an automatic shuffler for these? imagine tryin to do magic tricks with these.....pick a card any card!
#8
What are you gonna use then for apart from the old brucie impressions, "C'mon Dollies do your dealing!"? Maybe a card collector or frame a few for the wall if you had a games room I suppose.
#9
nice one, the kids will love these
#10
I can't see the cards, you'll have to make them bigger
#11
Damn! they've come down since they were last on here (@ £4.99.)
I bought a pack back then, only to find a card was missing so had to return it for a replacement.
The replacement had 2 extra duplicate cards (the King of spades & the grey joker)

So, be warned - the quality control on these card packs is pretty poor you may get more or less than a 52+2 deck.

Other than that, they're exactly what they claim to be - A4 sized playing cards! Totally impractical, but a must-have =)

I got these, not really for playing with due to the size (space needed to put them down, to shuffle just imagine shuffling a pack of printer paper - so not ideal!). What they are good for though is a giant house of cards, much easier and really impressive since its as tall as you!

Quite a heavy package/big box delivery so £3.49 delivered (minus disc/quidco) = very good!

My dad uses these when he does his kids parties. They always go down a treat. And he throws in a few Brucie-isms for the mums and dads, too ;-)

I'm using a set of these on Thursday. I'm running a memory improvement workshop and its ends with the group hopefully remembering the order of a shuffled pack of these.
#22
Great, the girlfriends just asked me to get her something big with diamonds in it.
#23
these will be great for using in the classroom for recap quizzes at the end of lessons. play your cards right style game: get a question right you can flip a card!!
#24
I'd have thought these would be good for playing pairs etc at a BBQ. Go nicely with the giant Jenga and dominos etc

Yup, think I'm going to get a few packs as I'm sure there will be plenty of other teachers wanting a pack when they see mine. Thanks OP!

Bought a set of these.

Started to lay 'em out on the floor to play a game of patience.

Ended up having to move all of the furniture out of my room to fit them in.

Wife came in and shouted at me, she wasn't very patient.

hmm they've gone up to £3.99 now

I got these at £3.49 but they're £3.79 now.

They could be fun for family play but the quality is poor. I don't have any cards missing but several of them have streaks on the back and one in particular has a dull patch on the back where the laminate didn't stick, so it's easy to tell which some of the cards are when looking at their backs, like a "marked" desk. No good for playing any game where face down cards or others players cards are supposed to be secret!

Has anyone successfully returned them for replacement? They weigh 1900g so it'd cost £7.30 in postage to send them back to Play.com - twice their value!

Probably easier to order two packs if you really want to play with these, then you can hope to mix & match the packs to at least get one deck in decent condition!
