Hugh Laurie’s debut album is a glorious celebration of New Orleans blues, "Let Them Talk" unites Laurie’s musical talent with a very personal selection of standards and lost blues classics performed with his band of renowned musicians and some very special guest stars.

Buddy Bolden's Blues
The Whale Has Swallowed Me
John Henry
They're Red Hot
Six Cold Feet In The Ground
The Battle Of Jericho
After You've Gone

Tipitina
Whinin' Boy Blues
Baby Please Make A Change

...I loved him in Blackadder and he's great, if a little samey in House...but he ain't a singer!

...this is just self indulgent pap...get it out of your system Mr Laurie and get back to what you do best!!

On the Graham Norton show he said it was the most pre-ordered album ever, I wonder after he sang at the end it became the most cancelled pre-order ever?

He does comedy songs very well, check out Mystery on youtube.

Very talented man in many areas, but singing isn't one of them. He obviously loves the music but this album would never have seen the light of day if it wasn't for House. This is like when Steve Martin tours with a band with his banjo - technically quite proficient but lacks soul.

Seen him in Later with Jools and Perspectives (http://www.itv.com/perspectives/documentaries/hugh-laurie-down-by-the-river/) and think he's really good. Good for any blues fan but if you rather into girls/boysbands, you won't like it... I wouldn't recommend it for metal fan either :).
