Apologies for the near re-post for the Foxsat HDR (see my Comet post this morning) but this is a better deal for the box which is released tomorrow. Delivery is as early as Monday morning too. Free delivery code 'AFD10' is valid only until 25/11 but saves £5.95.
After 1.5% Quidco, the HDR is £295.50, which is £4.50 cheaper than Comet and delivered a whole week earlier.

States 'out of stock' for home delivery, but in southern England you can click on and it comes into stock. Secure your box now!

Humax Foxsat High Definition freesat box with integrated recorder and 320GB hard drive allowing you to watch and record up to 80 hours of high definition TV or 200 hours of standard definition TV from over 130 digital channels. Also features twin tuner, pause live TV function and 8 day electronic programme guide.

If not i will get it from JL.

can you get itv hd with this?

A lot of people have been waiting for this launch and I doubt if you'll see it cheaper anywhere until the New Year when more stock is about and other PVR's are launched (Metronic).

This beats locking into $ky HD+ for 12 months at over £400 a throw.

There isn't much to watch and record on HD right now so personally I'll wait awhile till prices fall as I've already got the Humax HD basic box for £95 and can still time shift SD on my nornal PVR.

Still looks like a good price though... even better if you did the gift token deal from Argos a few days back... :whistling:

I was lucky enough to get a Best Offer of £95 accepted for a Brand New box off a guy on Ebay. I was able to collect as he was local and therefore I saved on Postage.

Even with P&P there are some new ones on there for about £110 Buy it Now with a Best Offer option. This will certainly get it down to £100 or less..

From next week onwards, as soon as the PVR is out, I suspect there will be a load of new and nearly new ones on E-bay as well. I'll be selling mine that way as soon as I get the PVR.

A brand new one from Comet is 15% off using the code FREESAT15. They will probably give you this online deal in store as well if you ask.

Same here, and just 10 minutes after Argos emailed me to say they were in stock.

Might be tempted to try buying 3 x £100 gift cards first to get another £30 off. :whistling:

so basically you buy 3 £100 gift cards and you get 3 £10 gift cards as bonus

makes unit 300 less 30 =270

do you also get a £10 voucher for the actual purchase?

Yep. That's the way it worked for me with the iPod Touch a couple of weeks ago. I beleive some assistants wont give you the £10 gift card when buying the £100 voucher but the till prompts them to and so most do, especially if they are busy.
#18
thanks

so you buy each £100 vouchers seperately?

Yep, or just try it with a £50 first to see if they will definitely give you the voucher. Try a differnt store/assistant if they wont. Then buy another 2x £100 + 1 x £50 = £300 or just buy £250 in vouchers which will give you £25 back and use this with the £250 voucher = £275 + £25 cash to top up. You should still then get another £10 voucher back when you buy the goods! :-D
