good price for this model but still £60 more than the 9150t was at argos last month (only difference being a display on the box and hdmi output I believe)

still gets a hot vote on price though

This has the 320gb harddrive as well, so that's 200 hours of TV. The 9150t had 100 hours, but your not going to watch all that if you ever fill the drive. The 9300T is meant to have upscaling as well as the HDMI output. I got the 9150t last month at argos and can't be more pleased with it. Just a shame I never got a second one at that price. This is a great deal for the 9300T, voted hot.

So this does have hdmi output? I must have missed that on the specs info.

as usual the dixons website is C***, but if you check the specs of the same part numbered unit on the humax website - (see below) yes it does - and since the dixons website is calling out the part number then I am taking it as having it (if it doesn't its going back to them!)

excuse my ignorance, but im new to all this - I currently have a pioneer plasma with freeview built in, and a Phillips dvd/HDD recorder also with freeview. But I want to be able to record stuff on freeview - which of course i cant do right now - so if i buy this can i can do that - great. Now, can i still keep my Phillips dvd/hdd recorder and play dvd in it and have it upscaled via this box?

No you can’t use this to upscale from your Phillips dvd/hdd recorder. It only outputs a signal from it’s Two internal tuners. The only input is RF\aerial in

Why do you not record freeview with your “Phillips dvd/HDD recorder also with freeview” :?

Is your TV standard Def, HD ready or Full HD? what is the model of your TV please
banned#12
this upscaling business is just nonsense really. your HD TV up/downscales the signal anyway to the TV's native resolution.
#13
Good Box .. good price.

Doesn't have the USB facility active (neither does the 9150) so you cant archive off your recording to PC/DVD like the previous version the Humax PVR9200T

You're talking complete cr*p. I have a Sony HD/DVD recorder that upscales freeview as well as DVD's and if ever I'm watching football or snooker I always watch the freeview signal through this on my Samsung 42" plasma HDTV as the picture is noticeably better. Whilst the Samsung does a good job with the freeview signal, the Sony definitely makes a difference, so before you say it's nonsense, go and have a look at some TV set ups that can prove it to your own eyes.

People are voting cold because they don’t think you got the Humax Foxsat HD Freesat Digital TV Recorder for £99.99 as I said before someone at Comet made a BIG mistake selling it at that price.

Anywhere this is in stock it sells out almost immediately
