May be an idea to hold off for a bit. Buying a brand new product makes you efectively a BEta tester. Wait till it is regarded as a stable design.
#2
Possibly, although it's been in testing for ages and Humax even sacrificed releasing it in time for the world cup to ensure all bugs are dealt with.

Regardless of this, it's still a great deal.

Not enough HD freeview stations to warrant this cost, but if you want it good price.

If Very are going to be selling this for £299 (before codes etc) you can bet the likes of amazon will be selling if for nearer £250 when they get hold of it. Very are currently selling the PVR9300t for £199 and it is £150-170 everywhere else.

I understand that it upscales SD too, plus more HD channels coming in the second half of this year.

Maybe, maybe not, but they haven't gotten hold of it and even if they sold it for £250, this price beats it. A cold vote based on speculation about future prices that don't even exist doesn't make much sense to me (I don't know if you voted, I'm just saying).

Deal through Quidco is 10% discount code and 8% Cash back netts to £247.57

Could somebody please explain the logic behind voting this cold?

It's better than any other price (prove me wrong) and is good value for what it is.

It's reactions like this that undermine sites like these and indicate that people are voting for reasons other than whether it is actually a good deal or not.

I think this is a seriously hot deal - I ordered it this morning, and my TopCashBack has tracked too.
