Dunno.. I was hoping they were going to be more Battle Royal than they were. and theres a lot of crap about girls feelings and does he like me should I like him. etc blah blah blah. Ok books but they are aimed a LOT more at female teens than I was hoping.
this and the twilight rubbish, all women like these days. if there are any women left who dont like this rubbish, fancy a date?

Have you read both? The Hunger Games draws heavily on the concept behind the BR (Namely society's breaking down, children being made fight to the death). But the stories are miles apart. Personally speaking I liked both.

I watched both films and must say i found battle royale a bit boring but enjoyed hunger games. I am a 16 stone 27 year old man so that kinda blows your theory out of the water :) also ther can be 2 or more films in a genre. I have only read the hunger games trilogy not battle royale.

It was just so boring.
The book people have been OOS for a month plus.
Got this Couple sets of these for £6 from the works using discount vouchers
(That's the opinion of a middle-aged bloke, btw.)
The second was rather "meh". The third was utter tripe. IMHO.
Reasonable price, but regularly available for a fiver from TheBookPeople. That doesn't help if you want it now, of course - but might if you're buying to put aside for Christmas.
Heat added - best price currently available.
The other thing missing from the film is, oddly, food. It's so crucial to the book - the search for it, desire for it, constant references to what could be eaten, massive frequent detail about the food they get prior to the games. But in the film...nothing. Kind of like making a Harry Potter film and not mentioning magic.
