Add a printer for £13, 2 opticals for £17, Upgrade the cpu to better as well, 2 gig of ram isnt much either ;-)

Should be Vista PREMIUM, as in my deal for £94 off :-)
Nice to have Vista Ultimate for same price as the Basic Home, though !!
This is an excellent deal for a cheap PC as the hardware is a new design.
Don't know how the Celeron will cope with Vista though - that's why I posted with CoreDuo2?
#4

Hang about, let's not start the knocking MikeT routine.

If everyone who has bought a computer on his recommendation gave him 10% of the savings they had made, he'd be a v. rich man

All power to your elbow Mike and PLEASE keep up the good work.
#11

Its difficult to help with everything, but Select vista ultimate for a discount, then add ram to 1gig. Choose the cpu you can afford and thats it really unless any other options take your fancy
Add the free modem
Dell™ v92 Data/Fax Modem with cable add £0.00

Just to clarify - the headline price is for Vista Premium rather than ultimate - or am I missing something?

#31
Thanks for this spot Mike!

Which is better, the Intel Core 2 Duo chips or the Viiv versions (since they're the same price)?

TIA
