Was looking for a decent soundbar - originally checked out the HW-F350, but that didn't have Bluetooth (for streaming music from my phone). So started looking at the HW-F450 and found it on offer on PixMania (its £178 on Currys, goes for more than this second hand on eBay, and not for sale on Amazon).

Seems like a great deal, and reviews are generally great (some not so good as usual, but 4/5 average I think).

Deal is time limited according to website (until EOD 16Jul I think).

Delivery is £6.90 (doesn't seem to be a free delivery option).

Price was around £200 when Amazon had stock just before xmas according to a review I read.

John Lewis have the HW-H355 (also called HW-F355 by some) for £145 which has a wired lower power sub (everything else is about the same).

That's a fantastic price for the f450, never had any experience with pixmania but if I didn't already have the f355 then I would go for this in a flash

Good soundbar for the price. I've had mixed experience of pixmania but at this price worth a shot.

Great price. I have this sound bar and is a nice piece of kit. Used pixmania once for a 40inch tv and had no problems at all, in fact I was really please with speed of deliver etc?
I guess it's when things go wrong?

I love mine, bought it from amazon.de (arrived in 3 days!) the only slight niggle is that the soundshare takes around 10 -15 seconds to pick up the tv when I switch the tv on. Bluetooth is spot on I would recommend it

Edit.

Just had a quick look on amazon.de and it would cost no more than £110 delivered, hope this helps

For the uniformed , Pixmania are s giddy outfit. They certainly will get it to your door quickly, but God help you if something goes wrong with it.
I speak from bitter experience.
Spend only a few quid extra and buy at least a little more peace of mind elsewhere.
Do not listen to the minority of people on here who prattle on about " John Lewis and others have poor customer service too".
Honestly, avoid Pixmania. You'll save yourself a lot of hassle.

Clogher, in my experience, if anything goes wrong under warranty, just go via manufacturer, which is much easier...

Manufacturers are not obliged under UK law to reimburse you. The contract is primarily with the retailer. Buy from a quality manufacturer and you may get some recourse if things go t*ts up as I eventually did. But ask yourself, why should you have to, when the retailer is strictly liable? I say again, avoid Pixmania. Or alternatively, crack on and buy from them and hope for the best.
