Well worth it. Got mine for a tenner a year or two ago. Really easy to lift the car for tyre replacements and what not and you simply have to loosen the oil cap to let it back down (no oil is lost).
Heat ^^

Great deal cheers OP, just what I was after.

Great price for a trolley jack, is this the 2 tonne one?
You can also get the axle stands for £6.99 http://www.lidl.co.uk/cps/rde/xchg/lidl_uk/hs.xsl/index_8408.htm There also worth a go for that price.

Yeah I agree the Axel stands are a good price also. I think I'll be getting a set of those aswell.

Dont forget to find out where your jacking points are before you end up pushing a hole through the bottom of the car or crushing break pipes or bending something.

Also if under the car use axle stands or at least put the spare wheel under etc so you dont get crushed.

good price always keep mine in the boot, better than those stupid scissor ones.

have used and abused 1 of these for years
just keep your eyes on the circlips on the sides
bargain

£18.99 for the trolley jack and £8.99 for the axle stands in the North Of Ireland :x

bought one, and they're ok. nothing more
when your used to sealey and proper branded jacks then these feel sloppy and take ages to pump upwards
but for £15 you cant really complain, everyone should carry one in their boot at this price
because it speeds up spare wheel changes on the side of the motorway in the rain, a god send in that situation
just make sure you jack up on the chassis, sill points, or rear suspension beam and NOT the floorpan or petrol tank
if in doubt keep a small plank of wood with it, and use the wood as a soft barrier between the jack cradle and car underside

I always keep an AA truck in my boot, much easier, uses less fuel, and actually you get someone else to change your wheel. By the way im a mechanic. so bring on all the comments, and female

Your my dream woman , I have so many problems with my old Corsa B . I'd whisk you off your feet tommorow if you could fix it , had so much problems with it this last week . Wont do any more than 50 mph top speed atm . Changed all filters , new sparks and beginning to think it maybe the fuel pump as this happened last year (but wouldnt start) and I replaced it with one from scapyard .

Hi the jack ok, but the axel stands are dodgy I wouldnt recommend them at all, they have little screws/rivets that hold the legs when you unfold them and they take all the pressure and I dont think it will stand for too long better to put spare wheel underneath or bricks, Maybe they have different axel stands but the ones I checked out were dodgy! and they were in LIDL they are these ones below

The thing I like about these jacks the most is the swivel handle. Really handy when jacking a car up in a confined area.

I've got a couple of the axel stands too, so far they havn't let me down (probably wouldn't be typing this if they had), but as mentioned, keep an eye on the rivets...

Had the axel stands for a few years. They are great and the folding legs are useful if you have limited space.
I cant remeber for definate but am pretty sure that it was £14.99 for the jack and the stands a coule of years ago.
Dont worry about the flimsy looking legs. when they are under load they arent flimsy. ;o)

As far as Jacks go this one is pretty standard.
