will this fit the the car boot

Yea, unless you've got a smart car or a BMW Mini and want to have space to put groceries in :)
#17
How low is it though? Need it to fit under my car =\
#18
I've had this for 6 months and it's great - used many times.

My car is too low now, so need wooden planks :-(
#19
any one suggest some decent trolly jack pads as this doesnt come with any pads, does more damage to the underside of the car...lol

You can try a hockey puck - bought one off ebay for £1 months ago and now need to see if it will fit this ;), but material seems just about right as it is quite hard and I would think unlikely to compress under the weight. I think you can just score the puck with a dremel if needed e.g. to jack up from a sill.

i wouldnt trust this product - good for some ay! (_;)

Don't understand the logic behind this? Sure, it's cheap, but it is also TUV approved as stated before. Would it help if it was £50?

In any case, you'd be taking a big risk to get under a car supported by only a jack - use axle stands, a block of wood, bricks...anything and everything possible as a 'backup'!

These are great @ all the haters

I changed the springs on my focus yesterday using this and the Lidl axle stands!

There are no haters of this product.

But it is the cheapest. lowest quality hydraulic jack you will find on the market. You pay for what you get. I wouldnt go under a car with this jack up though. Seen these break and the dreaded ones that come with your vehicle. If for once or twice a year jobs these should be ok. If constantly using anymore then that then dont bother.

I would'nt go under any car on just a jack. If you don't have the common sense to use axle stands dont get under your car, even the best jacks can slip. This jack will do the job in most cases, for most people and is a real bargain.

Fair enough, but don't plan on spending every week under my car, so will do the job I think. Good enough for a tyre swap and oil change! :)
