Just browsing through Argos and came across this deal.
I have the Hygena 42" T.V stand and Hygena table which are both really well made and look good and I thought this was a really good deal.

Cannot pick up from store.

Delivery charge £8.95 making the total price £38.94

It is so cheap because it prehistoric, I wouldnt buy this. If you look at the photos of it you can see a VHS player in the stand. I would be embrassed to have this in my house. Rather spend abit more and have something modern. Sorry Cold.

I was going to post the same thing.

It's for reasons like that things such as "was £xx" or "RRP £xx" should be banned from titles. It's very misleading because most of the time those figures are made up.

Have some heat, and nice bargain find.

As for "prehistoric" comment - so not to your taste, OK, but surely not worth voting cold ?

To me, if wide enough for a VCR, then wide enough for my other items, too, like Sky HD+ box.

Argos site overloaded else I would be buying not posting.

It doesn't look like a VHS player in the picture actually, looks like a DVD player. Albeit an older model...

Great find. Hot :)

I don't understand how it can be prehistoric because it shows a VCR in the picture, if it is actually a VCR. If it had a blu-ray player in the picture would you buy one?

Someone thinks it's a buy-one-cabinet-get-one-VHS-player kinda deal. X)

Great rpice for one of these. Hot.

I dont know from what planet you have to be in order to be emberassed having a TV stand advertised with a picture that has a VCR on it.... but this might not be this one....

At least if it was build some time ago it has a nice build quiality, not like these modern pieces of furnitures

It is indeed. "Toshiba DVD/Video Cassette Recorder" with HDMI....upscaling..pah.

Cold...oh wait..we're judging the cabinet and not the old equipment that is not included and you are not compelled to put inside your cabinet. (Though put inside your cabinet what you will ;) )

Hot OP!

Has anybody got a real picture of the item, aka working in real life conditions?
