HyperX CloudX are 3.5mm Jack headphones which is why they are cheaper - the sound quality is based on the device you are plugging them into.

The HyperX Cloud II headset is a USB with 7.1 surround sound - it has it's own high definition audio drivers which will easily out class the CloudX audio codecs.

Please don't talk drivel.

Correction.
Having just checked again they seem to be out of stock everywhere in the space of a few hours?
Glad I reserved mine.

This happens all the time at Argos - That's what happens when they are a chain street catalogue store :)

The CloudX are just a better quality headset full stop.

I can absolutely 100% guarantee that unless you are plugging them into a gaming motherboard with Audio Blaster drivers there is literally no way that the sound quality is on par with the HyperX 2
