Good price for a memory foam mattress, cheaper than what I paid for it! but my experience of this mattress is not good!. I have had lower back problems for about 6 years, and tried various mattresses (costing me a fortune!)

Bought this one, and suffered terribly with my back! there was no support at all and backwas in more pain...partner started to have sleepless nights too! and also made you quite hot and sweaty!

Sold to my brother and his partner after 2 months (had to give a few weeks to try and get used to it!), and they sold on within 3 months!

I ended up buying a snuggle memory foam mattress (recommended by my GP) and have slept soundly ever since! so much more support.

Reviews are very good.

Sorry for late reply Adam, bought the Snuggle memory foam 'charcool' Gold mattress...Heavenly!!! Have spent a fortune on various mattresses the past few years, and this is the most comfortable one for me.

No his is a different model. Same price on that site, but they all see to have good reviews.

They are different mattresses.

Everyone has different preferences, and the Snuggle Charcool Gold is the mattress which I am very comfy on and get a good nights sleep on. Having recommended to family and friends, now know of 6 other people with the same, and no one has had a problem yet!

No, that one's only 15cm thick instead of the 25cm on the OP

I will never buy from Amazon market place any more after having two bad experiences in the past. Amazon is fine though.
#22
i have the 10inch thick double. Got direct from hypnia cheaper than that but nearly a year ago. It took couple weeks for smell to go. I recommend u dont lay it onto your slats if u have them, u should try get some peg board (mdf with lots holes in) lay it over your slats wrapped in an old sheet. This help air circulate esp in the summer as yer it can get rather hot. Plus there mattresses are not designed to post out any back problems, so if u have bad back u should fork out more for a specific authopedic bed(cant spell it).
#23
#plus these mattresses are not designed to sort out any back problems #

Bought about year and half ago from ebay same foam in King size. After one year memory foam is not working as it supposed to just act like a normal foam. Tried to contact them but no reply on ebay... may be I am the unlucky one....

Wow, that's cheap. Any reviews/users of WillPS' link?

Edit: Seems like good reviews here: http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews247072.html

Cheers - about £30 cheaper, and option for free delivery too - well spotted (if only I could rep you !!)
The product looks the same, comes with the same CoolSoft cover and with two foam pillows as well.
Will be buying from your link!
#31
Yeah, same product. One word of advice though - dont bother with their checkout. It's seriously buggy and asks for Credit Card details over an unsecure (http rather than https) connection. Click the button "Checkout with PayPal" - you'll end up there anyway.
#32
Gawd - I hope that first review isn't indicative of an absent business.

At least we're protected by PayPal if it all does go **** up.
#33
I bought a Hypnia a few months ago directly from the company. Very comfortable, best mattress I've had. Yes, it smelt a bit initially. We let it airate without using it for 2 weeks to start off with. You could smell it a little the first time you slept on it, but after that the smell was completely gone.
#34
Am I right in saying that the same deal can be found here for £129.97? Add on the pillows and choose 10 Inches for depth - http://tinyurl.com/6ku2la7
#35
So many conflicting reviews!
#36
I read somewhere that for a good memory foam mattress u require at least 4" of memory foam layer
#37
The same trader is doing this deal on ebay for £129 and king size for £154 so this deal is not particularly hot.Should be freezing cold.
#38
Having suffered from chronic neck / shoulder for years and having tried various thrapies and mattresses I can say I am very sceptical.
Cheap memory mattresses and pillows can cause serious pain and problems. In the end I bit the bullet got a Tempur mattress and pillow and can honestly say its been a godsend! I got a 60 day free trial and then purchased (after they price matched!)
#39
Theres plenty of auctions from the same seller. A double 10" starts at 114.05 . Theres quite a few and they all include the pillows. Make sure you get the right one because theres 8" too. Be patient if someone outbids you, wait for the next one. Saw the king size was cheaper too.

We're buying a new bed, and £120 will buy you a Tesco Value King Mattress... this can only be better than that.
